1. Hope you all had a good crimbo,

I am looking to purchase an additional cab to link into my existing Hartke HA500 Head & TRANSPORTER 4X10 CAB.

I would prefer a small 2x10 cab that I could use for practice sessions, and then stack with existing 4x10 when live.

The head is 250 w per side into 4 ohms/175 into 8 ohms and can be bridged.
The amp also has a built in crossover /high and low outputs for biamping.

The 4x10 transporter is rated: 300w into 8 ohms

    Any suggestions please!

    Pref Under £150

    Regards

    Justin. :)

  2.
+1 to both the above solutions (+2 then?)

I use matches, i heard something about the cooks matches being the most suitable because of the wood or something, not sure how true that is though...

In my youth i used Milliput, but suppose any decent filler would be a more permanent solution
Cooks matches are great as they are much larger and you would probabilly only need one!

  3.
Its my BB614... not bothered about the cost of the guitar as teh bass is a bit battered and will eventually be replaced by a Rick.

Somone suggested glueing in a broken match and using that effectively as filler... anyone got any thoughts on that?
Check my reply!

You must have been typing the same time as me.

    The matchstick method works well!

  4. A BIG MUFF pedal should do the job i believe!

I have been after this sound myself. I use a Boss GT6-B unit which has a MUFF sound within the Distortion/Overdrive menu.

It sounds ok but not quite the sound we are looking for!

    Cheers

    Justin.

I made a similar piece many years ago for my old Hohner with the help of an artisan, though not so shiny and polished, it was priceless! The logic behind it being so simple, Im not surprised at all someone else came to the same idea.
Nice one! I was thinking of purchasing one of them a while back?

    Thanks for the link!

  6. Hi Guys! Time to make room for something else!!

On offer once again as buyer was short of cash & never even got to view it!!!

Here is my Hohner Professional 'the jack' headless bass.

    Specs =

    Zero Fret
    24 frets
EMG Select soapbar (Humbucker Type) Pickups.
Active/Passive toggle switch with LED light!
    Volume/Volume & Active stack pots.
    Natural stained finish

It must be around 15 years old. It has been well looked after, it plays perfectly and has no problems with sound, pickups, electronics etc.

It has a great live sound with its active pickup and is finished in a lovely deep rosewood colour.

There are a few small laquer cracks/chips and bumps in the body, a small scratch on the back and a bump in the fifth fret under the fretboard (this doesn't affect the playing at all though) I hope you can see the affected areas in the photos.

Overall it is in good condition, plays perfectly and looks great.

The neck is straight and the action is low! Too low for some but most of my playing comes before the twelth fret!

Strings will need a change but have been cleaned & Boiled!

Comes with a new battery! Battery cover is mint not like many others that snap at the hinge!

    ##### £200 (SOLD) #####

Postage will be Parcelforce 48!! Come on lads!!

Quick sale needed, Trying on Basschat before auctioning on Ebay, Most of these basses advertised on Ebay are in very very poor condition??

Please note that the Bass will be supplied with its original strap conectors not the silver strap lock ones as in photo's

    Thanks
    !

    Justin

  9.
Have a bump on me....

Would love to buy as it looks better than the one I foolishly sold earlier this year, plus the original case is pretty rare, and all for £20.00 more than a S****R

Bargain.......probably one of the most underrated basses ever made, better than some Fender offerings with the same pup layout dare I say
Its an 83 model if that helps.....25 years young
Couldn't have put it better myself.

    1983, Thanks mate.

I had a quick look at the westone site but couldn't find Serial Numbers etc.

    Cheers

    Justin. :)

  10.
£50 and a dog if you are interested..... :)

and you can throw that 18" speaker in with the deal .....I like to be generous..
Nice one Paul, I haven't forgot. I am on the phone to him now mate!

His garage is like Aladins Cave.

He has promised to dig it out this week?

I know i should keep hold of the Westone but my neck has cost me $540 so far!

    Cheers mate!

    Justin.
