2.
I found THIS listing on Ebay for CTS pots all wired up and ready to go with solderless connections. Good luck with your build.
Generally thought you were taken the piss with the cardboard layout for a moment there , Thankyou for finding that, I've spent a hour looking around but naturally stuff will fall through the net

Many people here are happy to vouch for his work. Whats BSB? Butter Scotch Blonde?
Cheers Shambo , I think its reference the neck aka maple but Butter Scotch Blonde sounds sexier doesn't it?
 4. Morning! Knee jerk decision to create a Fender Standard Jazz Bass MN BSB inspired copy but not for the 600 smackaroons. This is a more inspired creation and a project to do on these cold and lonely nights and I really dig the colours, so that's what I am going off over all. Currently a body has been sourced for £37! - This looks highly like a Squire body with the colour and grain finish, however the wood looks a better cut than most and the inlays for pickups etc looking smarter. A Pair of Fender 2008 Mexican Jazz Pickups are on there way also, These had all the necessary cabling and foam support already on so for £25 that's not to bad. For the body I will be measuring the neck set lay, granted I am on the hunt for a Maple neck for around £70. The body will be copper taped inside also once this arrives. The Bridge I have decided to head for is a Gotoh (Japan) 203 Bass Bridge Chrome 203B- for around £25 also. Now the biggest problem is sourcing pots, I know I need CTS pots and from memory 250k would be the ideal and "historical" ones to go for . however finding a made up set -or even sourcing them properly to match is what looks like a wee small headscratching session as for £28 for just them alone doesnt in my eyes make sense and my Father who has worked with electronics for over 40 years would punch me if he found out. 6.
Just noticed the bass here: http://www.bassdirec...cale_white.html Referred to in another thread. Those Delano Pickups look like they might be in the right ballpark size and shape-wise. Don't suppose they are that cheap though!
Cheers buddy
 7. Hi guys, forgot to check back to the forum. These are Customs Yamaha ones to fit, I swear I seen somebody somewhere on the tin'net had replaced them with two single screw ones as whats installed. Ive had a small look around for the bridge to be rewound to give higher quality sound even though its matched to the neck pickup (that is more like a P bass sound) I would like some more ooomph from the bridge overall. Sadly I am not a fan of Fender Jazz's unless its a full blown USA model, and I've had this Yammy for 10 years and this baby aint going!
 8. Morning All, I've been having a bit of a headache trying to find pickups that would fit the 2 single screw setup for my Yammy ( see photo ) can anyone help on the matter? Ideally after a Bridge Passive.
