I've played this exact bass. It's superb.
LOL. You should have bought it!
You should also have phoned me back a couple of weeks ago....... Then you'd have been the proud owner of that BB435 (with a hard/soft case) for £200!!!!!! (Cause that was what I let it go for.)

Yep, £500 is what I was offered by a dealer for credit against PX. Unfortunately I have several basses stored at my parents bungalow, which is in the process of being sold, so I will not longer be able to store anything there...... Needs must, I need to find new homes for several basses, hence the good deal. If they don't sell at the weekend, I will be taking a dealer up on his offer next week. (£500 was the dealer offer for credit against a P/X.)

I will be taking this to the South East Bass Bash No.12, Saturday 29th September 2018! if anyone is interested in looking or trying. I'll take £150 on the day for it.

I sent him a PM. I think using the series PUP config it will get him what he wants. Offered to let him try mine, but he's in Manchester, which is a little too far away to pop round and try mine.

I have a Steve Harris sig p bass. Despite the hieroglyphs on the rear of the headstock, it's quite simply one of the best p basses I have ever played.
And if you ever get tired of playin' it, it doubles as a boat anchor! LOL
EDIT: And if you haven't got a boat to anchor, instead want to play baseball, but can't find a bat..... Well, just remove the neck from your Harris sig et voila.... A baseball bat!

Too young for a Precision style bass? What the heck?
Active, and a humbucker in the bridge position..... Yep, it's definitely going to appeal to the tort and slippers crowd!

How much were the previous Classic Pros going for new?
£399, ISTR. Probably not the list price, but that's what the usual suspects were selling them for.

Yep, I've heard the Aggie pickup model that replaced the Nordy model. Too hi-fi sounding. Didn't like the sounds coming from (the lower down the range) BTB with the Barts either. I'd rather go with the older BTB Premium, with the Big Singles, than the later one with the Aggie PUPs. I suspect you'd agree if you were to play 'em side-by-side. Have you still got the SR1800 with the Big Singles?
