The cab is not ported in anyway, so behaves in a similar manner to a sealed cab, punchy as hell with a valve amp. Few scuffs here and there but in over all good condition. 800 watts and 4 ohms , with a speakon connector.[/font][/color]

I'm pretty sure that these are identical to the CL heads but have the nice retro looking sparkly cloth and silver fascia.

I've used it 3 times since the new valves were put in so they are basically brand new and good to go. Puts out a beastly 300w of Ampeg tone into 4 or 2 ohm cab configurations.[/font][/color]

I do like the Ampeg sound a lot, but shifting the thing from gig to gig is starting to take its toll on me, listened to the Aguilar the other day but the brand new asking price is out the question.

I currently own an Ampeg SVT AV valve head but really fancy swapping for something like the Aguilar DB751 head on the grounds it seems to have a nice warm sound but half the weight of the SVT , wondered if anyone had any opinions or experience with the Aggy head or both. Much appreciated. Jem

I have an orange tolex version of this cab, maybe not the same speakers, but a top bit of kit none the less and sound amazing. Good luck with the sale.

Do you know if this can run just a single 4 OHM cab, I'm figuring that plugging in 2 x 8ohm takes it to its lowest ohmage, therefore 1 x 4ohm cab into one speaker jack should be ok? Anyone? Think you answered that question with the Schroeder cab up for sale!

Sorry for the lack of response. I still have this, but at the moment I need it as a very nice drunken couple tipped two glasses of red wine into my new orange ad200b on Friday night, the intention was to move this on once the orange had got the nod.....now it's in bits on my bedroom floor
