  1. Potentially up for sale is my Aguilar DB750 which is in mint condition. This is an awesome amp and probably the best I've owned to date, just an amazing bass tone, plug and play simplicity for me.

It comes in a lovely Aguilar Rack bag for easy transportation and protection.

I will get some better piccies up soon if there is any interest.

I'm located in Stroud, Gloucestershire, if she goes then I'd prefer collection as this is reasonably heavy for postage.

  2. Hello,

Up for sale is my Genz Benz Streamliner which I purchased from Alan Bass back in the early summer. This is in great condition with no marks or issues what so ever. I've only used it a handful of times so hence the sale, hopefully it will go to a home where it will be used a bit more.

This amp has a lovely warm valve tone and can do a great job of mimicking an SVT with the correct eq settings without having to lug around 37kgs of amp. This head is incredibly powerful and running through just one of my DB112 cabs I can gig this in a pretty loud rock band.

I'm looking for a sale only on this, but can arrange delivery at extra cost, or collection is welcome from Cheltenham or Stroud in Gloucestershire.
Piccies are a bit small (sorry, used yours Alan) but essentially it's as a new Genz Streamliner would look.

Will come with a little laptop bag to carry / protect it, the original manual and a power cable.

    Thanks for looking.
    Jem

  3. Played the DB750 on Sat night in a smallish venue and it did kind of pin the audience to the back wall, but the sound is to die for. I used to lug an SVT Classic around so the Aggy feels light in comparison! I think the general verdict is to save and buy a ToneHammer and then have the choice, seems like a plan to me. As for DB750's coming around for sale, definitely getting a rarer sight on this forum, no one wants to sell them, those that do seem to regret it. Decision made, thanks to all who contributed, that's what I love about this forum : )

  4. I had one, first one I owned had a problem cutting out, it got sent back to Orange and they replaced it. The new one seemed fine but the bulb did go on that one. Good amps though if you want the signature orange bass sound, very low mids, deep bass. The 500 watter was more than enough for me. Hope you enjoy yours when you get it.

  5. Hi Guys

I have a lovely Aguilar DB750, which I love to bits, simply a great sound. I had chance to try a TH500 the other day and it sounded really good, almost DB750 like without the heft of carrying around. I only play pub gigs and have 2 x D112's, so TH500 would make a lovely portable rig, plenty loud enough for what I do.

Problem is I'd have to shed the DB750 to go with the TH500. Can anyone give me any experience of either, and what I might lose or gain through swapping out to a TH500.

    Your feedback is always appreciated.

    Jem
