come on guys what basses have you got?!
-
just a thought,
if someone has a really serious instrument that require some cash at my end feel free to run a offer by me... -
The bridge is a gotoh (or however you spell it).
I recived a lot of enquires about selling the bass but have been holding off as i havnt seen anything to replace it with yet. I have to have a bass lined up really, thats why a trade seemed like a good plan...
Thanks for all the intrest and i will try to be as quick as possible sorting sale out...
Have a good bank holiday....... -
you know you want to own a piece of history!......
-
cheers for the pic russ, thats the one!

had a few questions about the bass. Its is passive but sounds huge, like a monster fender jazz. Its 34 1/2" scale so the b sounds great. Its been really played and i think sounds all the better for it...
Looking for a trade but would consider cash offers..... -
Hi Guys,
due to recent hand problems ive decided to switch to playing 4 string basses. Im looking to trade this Fbass which was bought from the gallery, it apperently was owned by julian crampton from incognito. Its been played loads and is really worn, i think it looks better for it but this is not a mint bass. However it plays and sounds great and was set up last week (including fret dress) when i was up at overwater.
Its a passive 5 sting B-G made in 1995...
this really is an amazing bass and im sad to see it go, its quite unusal so really needs to be seen.
Im after a quality 4 string jazz bass but would also consider quality amps/speakers...
Anyone wants to try im in leeds,
cheers Geoff -
these are dark times indeed!........what next the SVT! ahhhhhhhhh...dont do it!

Hi guys, im selling my retrospec juice box valve DI box, heres the stuff from the website:
ALL TUBE direct box
The Juice Box represents a major innovation and a radical departure from the way tubes have been traditionally utilized in audio equipment. retrospec's design uses no audio transformer, eliminating the problems associated with transformer based direct boxes.
The result? A remarkable unit with exceptional performance features:
Frequency Response 10hz to 100khz
Distortion 0.05%
Noise Better than 90db
Clipping +18dbm
Transient response > 1µSec (no ringing or overshoot)
The Juice Box's audio circuitry is class "A" from start to finish. That and the absence of a transformer explain the conspicuously low distortion spec. It also employs a low impedance high voltage power supply, and a D.C. filament circuit just to keep things nice and quiet.
Then retrospec took one significant step further and included enough gain and headroom to be able to drive a 10k input at professional line level. Now you can go from instrument to console channel line in or direct to tape machine in one sweet clean step! Don't take our word for it, ask the artists, engineers, producers and studio owners who have put it to the test!
i bought it from the US a couple of years ago, you can select the voltage 110 or 220, its currently got a uk plug on.
they dont make these things any more and you wont find a second hand one anywhere else!
viewing welcome in leeds

saying that there is one i can think of, Lincoln Goines has a 33" with low B. Its a fodera though!
-
danger, danger! ive never seen a 33" with a b, janeks 5 is E-C. I havnt seen his new 6 but ive seen loads of 34" basses with poor b strings. Id go 34" with 17mm string spacing...
