I think that the neck break has brought it down in value but it's not an issue and it makes the bass fantastic value!

Hi everyone, I've decided to put this back for sale. It's been up for a short time before but I loved the bass so much I withdrew it from sale. However, needs must so I've decided to put it up for sale at a firm £950 collected from Manchester. I'm not intrested in any trades. I am really keen that the buyer sees/plays the bass first. Heres the story, i changed my mind about the original trade and decided to update the bass with new single coil pickups and the f bass preamp. It was all fitted and the bass was AMAZING! the pickups were sent over to fbass where they matched the colour and sent new replacments, the preamp is the best ive ever used on an active bass. Boutique bass with extra mojo!

Then it suffered a neck break....I got it repaired at the bass gallery and they did an amazing job and replaced the fingerboard with an freless lined ebony board. this and the epoxy resin used to fix the bass means the neck is completley stable. The repair is so good you would not notice usless prompted and you can not feel the break on the back of the neck. It really is an amazing repair. It has been done to the higheset possible standard. Im a professional bassist and am very picky about instruments, this is truly a great bass.

Obviously ive spent a fortune on this bass but realise its value is diminished by the neck break. However it really is an unique amazing bass. It sounds great and plays as good (if not better) than it did before the break.

due to lack of cash ive decided to sell my beloved DB750. I bought it 1 year ago off another basschatter who bought it from the bass gallery 2 years earlier... so its about 3 years old...

After a massive search on talkbass I upgraded/replaced all the tubes with groove tubes and racked it in a gator 2u short case so its really compact....I will post details of the tubes later in the week.

Its in great condition and works perfectly and has had a service 1 year ago(when the tubes were changed). The rack ears are slightly bent due to the previous owners old rack not supporting the back of the db750. However this is only really noticable out of the rack as its only very slight.

I will post some pics over the next few days but i wanted to get the ball rolling.
Im asking 950.00 pounds including the gator case....

I might consider postage but would prefer to try and arrange collection or perhaps meeting somewhere.....

Ive always loved BP and really hope they get back on track. IMO its far better than any of the uk efforts.....Bassist was very good though...

mmm they have alway been a bit dodgy with me, ive bought a couple of basses and really didnt feel good about it. The staff seem to have a real attitude, and they could also do with a duster :-)
