Very sad to see this one go, but time to cut back on my collection. This immaculate Korean made bass is amazing to play and had plenty of comments on how good it sounds. Some of the pics are a bit naff but I will get some more done shortly. I’m not keen of posting basses, but I will consider mutual travelling.

Sorry, brain freeze. Just ordered EXL160M. MANY THANKS

EXL160M, are you using that through the body ? Or should I go for 170M ?

Mustang Owners - Opinions Please. I’ve just acquired a newish US Fender Performer Mustang Bass that is fitted with La Bella Flats. I’ve never been a lover of flats myself and find them very dull. I’ve always used roundwound and love the bite of them. Which Rounds do you like ? I’ve not stripped it down yet but I’m also informed the string length is classed a medium due to being ‘through the body’. Is that right ? Thanks

I had the pleasure of dealing with Josef when I was selling my Lakland USA Bob Glaub bass. Couldn't wish for a better guy to do business with and although I was hesitant about sending one of my babies abroad, everything was superb, from communication up to payment and delivery. I would gladly recommend him and would deal with him again Les - aka, Dusty

Hoping for some advice to a crazy idea I've just had !! I'm currently sitting on two immaculate Marshall 1x12 speaker cabs that my son no longer requires. I, myself normally gig with a Markbass 102 combo sitting on top of a MB 104 cab which is great for most of the gigs I do....... but, recently we have been taking on smaller venues with limited 'gear space' ! Im thinking about getting either 2, 1x12 cabs or a 2x10 to sit under my spare MB LM3 head. Then it dawned on me that the Marshall Cabs with some decent speakers, something like Eminence Deltalite Neo 12's might just solve my problem. The Marshall cabs with the Greenbacks in, would only probably be worth about £75 each. The cost of having cabs mate would far exceed that and to buy a 2x10 or 2 x 1x12 would be quite an outlay. The Marshall cabs are front ported with 2 holes 5cm dia. Is this a viable option or should I just splash out on proper cabs ?? What do you think ? Any help appreciated Dusty 😎

Two new 44-51's to add to my arsenal!! The one with the Black Plate is a Skyline with a standard neck which was bought whilst I was waiting for my own spec' done to be built. So the the one with the Tort plate was discussed with Lakland and ordered through The Bass Gallery (Martin & Charlie are great guys) in January this year. It's a 44-51M which has the contoured body. The Butterscotch colour is not standard on the US basses so they did this for me and I also requested a Jazz profile neck. They also supplied a Black plate for me as I could not decide what to have. Anyway after 10 months of worry, e-mails and anticipation, my baby arrived on November 20th. So here they both are, gig ready the next day. The USA one is also featured on Laklands Facebook page just before being shipped.
