1. I would say that the Dakota red is a slightly darker tone. Well of course it is very similar to a Pino with the relic finish, except this bass has bridge and pickup covers. Not to mention best part of £1700 cheaper 😉 for the same quality

 5. BASS IS NOW SOLD 4/4/18 WAS - £2350 NOW - £2050 FENDER 64 P Bass Custom Shop Dakota Red - Almost NEW Here, as they say "with a heavy heart" I am having to sell my custom shop Fender 64 P Bass with a beautiful relic finish. A really rare example of the custom shop basses, finished in Dakota red which must be seen to be fully appreciated. Having only purchased this bass 10 months ago, I am having to save money for a new mortgage and with my other bass doing all the work, this is unfortunately gathering dust in the corner. Never once left the house and only played a hand full of times, this bass is in shop floor condition. As new (of course considering that it is a relic version!). Complete with original custom shop tweed case, custom shop lead and official custom shop cert of authenticity. I am Based in Herefordshire - HR6, I am prepared to travel a reasonable distance to meet any purchaser.

 8.
Hello Brucethebassplayer1, After a few months, could you elaborate a bit more on your Glock/Vanderkley stack ? I've got a Blue soul and I'm thinking about adding a Vanderkley 4x10" to me arsenal. Thanks
Having had the stack for a few months now, I am still very happy with its performance. The sheer clarity of the Glock head working through the Vandekley cab is astounding. I must admit i did upgrade from an Ashdown Combo before so there was always going to be an improvement. Combined with a variety of different effects, the amp has a simple preamp that i find very easy to 'dial in' when performing different genres. The band i currently play in do a range of covers from country, jazz/blue and rock so i do need something that can be versatile enough to handle all of those styles without looking out of place. If anybody was considering a new combination of amp and cab, you cant go far wrong, and if the 700watts from the Blue sky isnt enough, you could always go for the Blue Rock which offers 1000watts.
 9. Ended up getting a Vanderkley 410 combined with a Glockenklang Blue Sky. Sounds incredible. Thank you all for your comments.
