2. Hi there guys! Just to let you know, i am the seller of the bass Paubass is looking at. Thanks for all the ideas ect on the best way of completing the transaction. There is alot at stake for both partys. I quite like the idea of an elected forum member (trusted/moderator ect) where i would take the bass to them (anywhere around glasgow - edinburgh), when in there presence the full amount would be transfered to my account, once there.....the bass is left with the member for pickup/postage to be arranged. I would even sling something to the member as thanks for there time taken to help with the transaction. Ebay is another good idea.....but im sure the charge for me to list a item of this amount would be about £60/80 which i cant justify. Paubass has excellent rating and feedback on the forum, and i dont for see there being a problem as he seems like a very friendly guy....but care needs to be taken by everybody in this situation. Me being new here doesnt help, but everyone needs to start somewhere. Thanks again guys for your help! Chris!
3.
Cheers that's a really great idea my neighbor works at Anniesland I'll try them. The guys I saw wouldn't give me a price but thought it would be expensive, I've spoke to another bloke though and he seemed pretty reasonable and has a good rep. It was the Barras sorry mate!
Damm! LOL!
4. What market in Glasgow did you get that great deal from?? Please dont say the barra's, cos im down that side of the toon all the time!! Good buy! Well done! Chris!
5. Jimmy Moon does all my bass work. Though some friends have used Strung out guitars and they seem to think the work in there was very good! Chris!

9. Newbie to the forum! Play bass in an Glasgow Irish folk group - 'The Wakes'. First study sax player, I teach woodwind in various schools. Currently play a natural Stingray Musicman, fretless Fender Jazz (jaco style) and im Currenly selling my beloved 1977 Fender Jazz bass once owned by noel redding! (see the for sale section!). Look forward to posting more on the forum! Chris!
10. Hi guys! First post on here (hopefully first of many posts!) Up for sale is my 1977 Fender Jazz bass in sunburst! This bass is a real players bass! Perfect tone, feel, looks everything! After a long and hard think over....iv decided to let this bass go, as it is basically just a ornament at the moment... a thing of beauty that sits in my room while my Musicman and fretless take the harsh workload of my giging! This bass deserves to be played....its defo a player! This bass also once belonged to Noel Redding. The bass comes with all receipts from noel, the last 2 people after him then to myself. There is recepts for all work carryed out (set up's ect) and there is also photos of Noel with the bass as well as a nice note he wrote to Paul the next owner when he bought the bass from him! See photo's! Regardless of who owned this bass in the past, its defo a monster of a player! Anyone intrested in her can try her out before buying here in Glasgow...you will be sold! Im looking for £1550 for the bass including case. The bass in located in Glasgow, I would rather have the bass picked up, but postage/Shipping can be arranged at the buyers expense. Please Message me for more details or questions! Thanks, Chris!
