  3. As the title would suggest im looking to replace the pre amp on my Yamaha, so far have been looking at the John East U Retro 5 knob and the Bartolini 5.2 pre amp

    Was just wondering if any other TRB users have changed the preamp on their bass and if they had any recommendations other than the ones above

    would 2nd Mr Marshall. been in his workshop a couple of times when the guitarist i play with has needed his amp modded/re-valved, guy really knows his stuff and offers a very professional service
