5. Really nice bass at a great price, I had one of the fretted 5 string versions of these and always regretted selling it
6. hey dude cheers for the extra info. was gonna stick covers but then realized how unpractical an idea it was with regards to how my right hand plays but ended up just sticking the screws in so the holes werent exposed. how u liking the your squier?
7. thinking about shifting these to raise some cash for new gear, wish I could keep a hold of them as they are rather nice to play, but they are not really getting used that much outside of the house and could really do with upgrading my amp for something louder Bought the Fender off of here from LukeFRC early 2009. its a Fender CIJ '57ri P bass which one of the nicest maple necks I've ever played on and has a rather funky gold anodized pick guard, has a really nice cool old school vibe about it but isn’t really getting used at the mo cause of its lack of low B. It does have a couple of dings and some buckle rash on the back but nothing to serious. Would be looking for £350 + P&P for it The Squire was bought from Kenny’s Music in Dundee last September, think most people are aware how good these are considering how much they cost and tbh I prefer the Vintage Mod range to any of the Fender Mexs I’ve played. The body of the bass is in good condition, but the fretboard has been marked because i'm a twat and slapped it when I first got it, marks are over the E and A string area below the 5th fret (have included a pic of this). Looking for £100 + P&P Would prefer to sell these but might be interested in trades regarding small powerful combos or powerful heads cheers for reading Ross
8. cheers for everyones suggestions, much appreciated
9. Hi there just need some help for Uni research, just wondering if anyone can suggest bassists or songs from the 80s pop/mainstream that use the bass as a main compositional feature rather than just a supporting instrument. I’m aware of Pino and Mark King, but was just wondering if anyone could recommend any other examples

Bought this off of Mr Billphreets a couple of weeks ago and is a great wee pedal but think im gonna get an EBS IQ (got a serious chubby for EBS at the mo) and need to shift a few things to help fund it. Its in very good condition, have only used it for a few practices also comes with wooden box. Can pics if needed and if you have any questions please feel free to ask, looking for £35 for it cheers Ross
13. pleasure doing business with u good sir
14. Howdy everyone, looking to offload this as I am trying to free up some cash because I want/need an EBS Octabass and I am el skinto at the mo. Bought this bass around November last year off EBay as found myself bassless as I am twat and left my PBass on a bus and needed something ASAP to gig with. Managed to get PBass back + ive made a couple of new additions to my bass family so the Yamaha found itself at the bottom of the pecking order and therefore is getting shifted to raise cash for the Octabass pedal. For a moderately priced bass this has a fantastic sound and TBH if I didn’t need the cash for something else I would prob just keep it. The bass is a good few years old (from what I can tell mid to late 90s) but is still in good working order, cosmetically it has some scratches and bad buckle rash which I have tried to show in the pics Looking for £90 + p&p, price includes hard case Thanks for looking Ross [att achment=47505:Image0032.jpg][attachm e nt=47508:Image0035.jpg]
15. Hey there looking to get my EH Bass Blogger punted as had it for a few months and have barely used it, its a pretty decent pedal but just not really my thing and looking to free up some cash to put towards an EBS Octabass. It’s in very good condition as only used it a few times at practice, can pm pics if needed. Here's link to an Ed Freidland demo video if you would like to hear how it sounds, bass blogger demo starts at about 5mins in http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRLpifLuLQg looking for £35 posted thanks for looking Ross
16. tbh i stuck a light gauge set on my 5 string and they were a total pain in the arse, in fact i think i replaced them after a couple of days. Gary Willis talks about string gauge in his 101 Bass Tips book, in which he strongly recomends against light gauge low Bs hope this link works http://books.google.co.uk/books?id=jGwTXP1...;q=&f=false
