Does have a mark where a previous owner had put a sticker on the body (possibly during the punk era?) I bought it as a '78 but after finally taking it apart and looking at the serial numbers etc, I deduce that it's a 79 neck and body with 80 pots and pups. Same build era as the 78s. Plays and sounds great. I replaced the scratchplate about 8 years ago but other than that the bass is all original. Comes with hard case. [/font][/color]
