Great playing! Sounds lovely. What's the make of the round-wound strings you have on it, they do sound like flats. I'm interested in the bass as I was born in '61 and always wanted a year-of-birth Custom Precision.
Thanks a lot! I’m not actually sure what the strings are. They’re whatever Fender stick on their instruments as stock. I used to have a Pino CS with flats but I’m preferring the versatility of round-wounds on this bass. Tone is rolled off by about 75% and palm muting gives the flat-wound sound.

Very nice indeed.... how wide is the neck at the nut? and why do you choose it over the Pino?
It’s 1.75” width at the nut and I chose it over the Pino as I couldn’t see the difference for an extra £300 when trying them both out in Bass Direct. I also think this bass has a more classic look for pop gigs etc.

You sound wicked on that beast, flats or rounds?, and what are you running it through.... it's just about the perfect sound.
Thanks a lot!
I’ve got rounds on, have preferred them over flats for a while now.
And that’s just direct in played on Logic and using OBS to capture the sound.

*PRICE DROP* £2,250
*NO TRADES. CASH ONLY*No trades, please don’t ask... After the 20th “how about this”, it gets really annoying.
Bought this brand new back in February for £3,199. Need yet more money for my house renovation so another has to go! Played only a small number of times, predominantly in the studio.
Fantastic bass, I opted for it over a Pino CS (which I have also owned previously).
It weighs 9b/4.0kg (according to the original listing with Bass Direct), however it feels lighter than this when playing it.
Here is the original listing:

Video of me noodling on the bass:
I am located in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Collection preferred but I can also send if necessary.
OHSC and case candy all included. Only mod I have made is sticking some Dunlop straplocks on it.
Thanks!

My Favourite Amp ever! Absolutely love mine ❤️
I never thought I’d be selling it. It’s the only amp I’ve ever been truly happy with but I need the extra cash at the moment and with more gigs coming in, I’m after something lighter! ☹️

Bought brand new 11/2017. Comes with the Aguilar hard carry case which cost £250.
Amp is in perfect condition, case has slight signs of wear. I will post some proper pictures soon but am just providing screenshotted photos from gigs/studio for now.
Located in Stroud, Gloucestershire. Collection preferred but could sort out delivery if necessary.
Only trade I will consider is for an Aguilar AG700 + cash. Shoot me a near offer to listed price, need the amp gone quickly.
Cheers!

Tentative sale! I may back down from my decision to post! (I have done before)
Not much I need to say on this, you know how good they are...
Weight is around the 4.2kg range. 34” scale. A few minor defects but still in very good condition. Bass comes with non original Fodera teardrop case and case candy.
Victor Wooten signed the battery cover plate for me when I saw his trio in London a few months ago. The pictures provided were taken before the signing but I can provide more photos if you require, just PM me.
Victor Wooten also played this bass back when it was at Thomann. Again, video can be shown if required.
I will only entertain trades with early-mid 60s precision (plus cash if not all original etc), pino palladino CS + cash or low 60s CS P bass + cash.
I am located in Gloucestershire. Pick up or can split cost on delivery.
Cheers!

Please, please stop messaging with trade offers. I have quite clearly stated no trades and as is the case with every advert I post, I get bombarded with trade offers... I won’t be replying to anymore trade offers. Thanks.

The older and more decrepit we become, the more important the weight is!

Looks good, and weight info?
You guys and your weight requests... I don’t know the specific weight of this bass as I do not own any scales (I am happy with my oversized body). However I have looked up the average weights of these basses and they are around the 4.6kg range. Not the lightest!

Bought the bass a couple of months ago from Andertons. Great basses for the money. I bought this as a replacement for my Fender 5 Elite but ended up buying it back as realised I made a mistake!
Bass comes with a Fender deluxe vintage style case (originally came with my old US Marcus Miller jazz V which I sold a while ago but held onto the case).
I am based in Gloucestershire. Collection preferred but can send with insured courier at buyer’s expense.
No trades, thanks.
