  1. Hi everyone has anybody out there fitted or tried a John East P bass preamp? I would like to hear opinions on the sound and flexibility and if its worth the money Cheers
  2. Hi All I would like to change the pick ups on my american P bass to either duncan seymour antiquity or fender 62`s but dont know if they will suit the S1 switching , any suggestions?
  3. Hi All, Just bought a used 1996 Trace combo 1215 smx ,sounds fine until graphic button is switched in and the volume is halved , even at max on the graphic output control knob. According to the downloaded manual you are supposed to be able to balance the output with the graphic switched in or out ,with the graphic control knob, which i cant do. Also i think the speaker has been changed it has a Fane KC15-175C 175 watts is this the correct one? Any tech. help or advise would be welcome Cheers Graham

[quote name='jembullo' post='274960' date='Sep 1 2008, 09:25 PM']For Sale my trusty Roland DB700 £250 This beast is very compact but pumps out 250w of power and it seems much louder than this due to it the FFP technology (Forward Feed Processing). I have to be honest I rarely had this further than 1/4 round the dial, when playing pubs or clubs. It's in used but very good condition no tears in the carpet covering just a couple of little paint chips on the operating panel but nothing major. Has side handles for lifting and castors for easy transportation. The specs 3 band EQ with semi parametric mid range, adjustable compression, chorus 3 digital amp model types - solid state, valve and overdriven, with volume and gain settings. 7. Hi I`m Graham been playing for many years but have got much more fussy in my old age. I have a Fender American Precision and a Warwick Katana bass playing through Ampeg SVT3 with 2x12" and 1x18" Guass i like the tightness of the low bass but not the tonal variation of open E compared to open G. Is there a unit available that can boost the bass tone at different frequencies seperately? What I am looking for is to imagine the notes played on one string. Any Comments welcome
