Hey guys I play a 4 string bass but want to move to a 5 for the music I play, I borrowed a ibanez sr 505 but really struggled to play clean as the strings seemed so close together compared to that on my 4 string esp bass. Is this pretty much standard with 5 string basses or is this mainly ibanez? I'm playing low tuned metal so any recommendations would be perfect. I'm looking to spend in between 500-1000 Thanks

Hey there guys I'm looking at getting one of these basses and hopefully very soon making a trip to bass direct to try them out before buying What are guys opinions on these basses who have played them? My main concern is what the neck feels like on the Sandberg? I'm after a faster thinner neck as I'm an ex guitar player Thanks for the help guys

what are peoples thoughts on trace elliot gp7 300 watt heads? pretty old but I've seen a few stacks about for £400

Hi guys I'm looking at buying an amp at the momentt with a budget of around £500. Ive seen a orange terror 500 head at a reasonable price,Do you guys think this would work? I'm into music such as periphery and monuments, Any help would be massively appreciated Cheers

Hi there guys im new to bass and play mainly metal using a Esp LTD 204SM bass I have a budget of around £400, ive seen a used ampeg pf 350 head and cabinet for £350, do you think this would be suitable ? any other ideas would be much appreciated Thanks guys
