Okay I’ve slept on it (not the bass - my thoughts!) and in the morning sunshine and having now played it thoroughly I’m warming to it. My first concern was the wood looked ‘muddy’ Ie without a bright golden sheen I’d hoped for but that appears slightly under sunlight. The shape isn’t the same as the previous Obsession series which I loved but it is comfortable and plays and sounds like an absolute dream - I switched the strings this morning which made the world of difference.
