  1. Selling my Tech 21 VT bass DI, used for a few months and in great condition. Amazing pedal but since I bought a whole new rig, I haven't used it as much. Based in St Albans, Hertfordshire but happy to post at buyer's expenses.
  2. I have added a live video to show the different sounds from the bass, playing pop latin and rock stuff. At the time the bass had another Di Marziothat I am happy to give out.. Audio is from the camera but it manages to capture the richness of the bass.
  3. Thank you all for your advices guys. I ended up putting a Quarter Pounder and it has really made the low end come up yet retaining its original tone. Always loved this pup!
  4. Hi guys, I am selling my Sandberg California. I've used this bass on a contract abroad for a few months and it has served me well but lately I have only been using my pbasses so I'd like to see this bass going to a lovely home where it gets the love it deserves. As you can see I got a pbass pup at the neck (a Di Marzio right now) but never had a scratchplate made for it. At the bridge there is a Delano pickup and bass will come with the original Delano neck pup as well as the original scratchplate. The preamp is the original Glockenklang the bass came with; it has active/passive switch, 2 band eq, series parallel switch for the bridge pup, overall volume and pup blend. Also, the bass has been refinished in a very thin 3 tone sunburst nitro and there is plenty of natural wear in the front and back of the bass. You can also see some slight checkings. Unfortunately the S from the 'Sandberg' logo on the headstock came off. I think this is a great instrument, light and versatile and with a lot of personality. These new were over £1.4k so its the perfect deal if you need a player's bass. I am based in St Albans, Hertfordshire and I am happy for anyone to come and try it out and have a good cup of tea! Any question please don't hesitate to ask. Thank you!
  5. It's taken me a bit of time to get used to such a big neck but now I love my Avri58, the feel of it, the light weight, the finish that is naturally wearing etc. but overall I find it to be a very bright sounding bass for my needs. I'd be interested in getting a different pup that would give me punch and an added warmth (something closer to 60s reissues) and taking off a bit of the harshness. I thought of a quarter pounder as I have used it in another pbass and I remember liking it.. I also remember loving a Lollar pup I tried in a shop on a Nash bass. Any suggestions on other pickups? I use roundwounds and I mainly play rock, pop and blues so I am not after a Motown/flats sounds. Any help is much appreciated!

  8. Hi guys, I am selling my Sandberg California TM4 in sunburst with Delano pickups. Its a hell of a player, quite light and incredibly versatile but I am too much of a Fender guy and I can't seem to like anything that is not a p-bass (!). This bass has been used a handful of times and a part from a few dings on the front of the body, its immaculate. Comes with a Sandberg well padded gig bag which is very handy. I am based in Greenwich,London so just hit me up if you'd like to try it or if you have any questions just send me a PM. Here's some specs. It also has an active/passive switch Specs Construction Bolt-on Body Alder Neck Canadian hard rock maple Neck width at nut 1.5" Fingerboard Rosewood Fingerboard radius 14" Frets 22 Nut Graphite w/zero-fret Pickups Delano Hybrid System Preamp Glockenklang/Sandberg, boost/cut Controls Volume, blend, treble (±18dB @ 8kHz), bass (±14dB @ 40Hz) Tuners Sandberg Bridge Sandberg Weight 9.5 lbs Made in Germany
