Strange.
Parcel Farce used to state in their T&C's that they dont insure guitars, though they will still accept your parcel, but wont pay out if damaged or lost.
Have their excluded items changed to now accept guitars

I have the M VAVE Cube turner and it looks pretty identical to the Lekato, but its not posted from China, though a few quid dearer. Had it working for a couple of years without
any faults.

Here's a new one for Nevri. I was due an ebay delivery couple days back, and no show. Then i get an email saying they couldnt deliver due to weather conditions in my neck of the woods.
Its been pretty dry and sunny for days here, so its a pack of lies. Who wudda thought.

Owner said this..
Not too heavy like some have complained, didn't weigh it but it feels under 10 lbs, maybe 9.5 lbs, and it sounds really good, nice deep Fender-like single coil tones from the neck pickup and when you add the bridge pickup it gets throaty with some added growl. Not like a Rickenbacker per se but that's the direction it leans with both pickups together. The bridge pickup soloed is more burpee Jazz like as you'd expect. The slab body is shaped like a Fender tele bass but made of laminated plywood. It's surprisingly resonate. I didn't expect that. The neck scale is 33.5" so that plus a 2x2 headstock makes it about 2" shorter than a Fender tele bass. But it's still a full scale, like a Rickenbacker.

Yeah good point.
But, you're right, Sex Machine was probably the better title, so as to differentiate between the 2.
Ive reported myself to the song title misuse board

Well, the whole song title is Get Up (I Feel Like Being a) Sex Machine. To be accurate.
But who the funk wants to type that out
er....oops

Shockeroo, i was in a 7 piece " funk " outfit about 4 years ago, and it was probably the best time ive had in any band. And yes, we covered James Brown's ' Get Up '

Singing and playing - how?!!
in General Discussion
Posted
When our band kicked off a couple of years ago, the premise was that every member ( 5 of us ) had to sing lead vocals on various tracks, mainly because we didnt have a front man.
Only 3 members had sung lead before. I wasnt one of then, so i had to get stuck in. Not easy so i found out, and it depended on what bass line i was paying at the time.
But it worked out ok cos i kept at it, and had around 5 tracks to sing lead on. Just practice , there's no magic.
