I think this concept would be great at weddings etc where noise can be an issue.

Use something like a Flyrig Bass, guitards use similar, PODs etc, drummer uses a (decent) e-kit, everything goes into the mixer and all the band use IEMs, then could either be straight to PA at more reasonable volumes, or as OP suggested, beamed to BT headphones.

Might be a bit weird for the singer though, to be basically singing to themselves in a quiet room! ;)

I have played in a trio for years that does this already, variax guitar, elec upright bass and electric drums. We can talk to each other at normal conversation volume levels behind the pa!

Get some big screens and the band could play remotely so they wouldn't even have to travel to the gig.

I know a guy who is serious about this being the future, pay per view basically.

I really dislike my One 10. It is so boring; it just makes my basses sound good without any knob twiddling on the Tecamp. I miss all that bicep building too; these things are useless for weight practice. Being so disappointed I bought a second one to make sure. Same result, just more of it. Now I can not exercise both arms at the same time. To add insult to injury my band mates actually like the sound so I cannot even annoy them with the noise.

You forgot to say they look crap, the logo sucks and the feet and handles fall off, Lol.

  4. One thing I have noticed is that most of the fans of these cabs never keep ANY gear long including amps, I've had one brand of amp for a decade, one for 8 years before that and about the same from my first gig 8 years before than I suppose, I've had one quality 2x12 for 10 years and it still sounds great and if anything im looking to reduce stage volume rather than get loads more from a tiny light box.
