Bargain bump again.

Running the BT2 with a power amp made such a difference in sheer force of volume and projection, enjoy:)

I moved from an Aguilar GS412 and bought a Big Twin 2. I was unsure at first, going from 4 12's to 2....... I've got to say you don't need to worry about volume or dispersion . The BT2 is a fabulous can if you want to be heard clearly no matter where you listen from . It is very flat, that took me a while to get used to. Fabulous tone, loads of volume and depth, and such a breeze to haul about compared to my old 412. Game changer

And PM's replied to.

Definitely what Roberto said about a mic for recording . I've seen folks using that pickup sandwich the two discs with cork and put them in the E side wing slot of the bridge, sounded much better so they said, worth a try maybe?
-
Hamilton Kenny, not far at all. The weight of this is just silly, you'll see what I mean if you come over. If folks want to try this please PM me, you can bring your amp, bass and whatever else you normally play with to try out, sorry about your amp sale quimbymeat

Must......resist.........

Yep, the old Underwood phase issue. I've always used an Underwood for roots/Jazz/rockabilly and always leave the G side out. I normally have it through the G side bridge eye running through a cylinder of foam. Shadow obviously produce the single paddle pickup as well as the Underwood clone to deal with this. The Underwood sounds great like this
