emg pups, 18volt, case exellent/mint condish ,agy 2 band, ash body,olive wood top(i think), birds eye maple neck,rosewood board, recently set up by gallery.
i recently got a custom built jazz5 that does it for me now so looking for a different 4.

I got a trace elliot gp12smx ra400 head/power/pre together, but i have to link my cabs in a chain, i dont play big venues etc and usually just use my 4x10 but wana go down separate pre/power route.


so i was just wondering does a power amp just power the signal it reicieves or do certain power amps coulour the sound from the pre?


are power amps that special or is it just the amount of power you receive that makes them different in price quality etc.
I want to go down the separate route so as i can power the two cabs individually.


oh and just on a side note are two x10 trace cabs as good as a 4x10?(rated at the same watts).


any thoughts (honest as you like) please.

dolphin!!!!!

Had a thumb six beutiful sound but bit neck heavy (old 98 neck profile shallow C).
My Dolphin sn 5 was the MOST comfortableist bass ive owned, (neck was a tad thick profile U shape)

UNTILL :-

untilll i got my sei 6 flamboyant the neck weight and shape is PERFECT . period.

need to get two sets of stepped (at the brigde) strings.
I got super steps on my sei but they didnt seem to stay bright for long, i need a 5 string set too (has to be smaller at the brigde end) any thoughts sugestions?

its from a custom builder in bulgaria,
its an (elrick jazz copy),agular and nortstarnds etc its cool man makers name is zvetino ?

dude what ever will be will be, if you keep the sei for a while longer then you do,
everything circles in life anyway,
ive been on the look out for ages for a sei 5 that i like, and i know if any of us that are wacthing yours wait long enough
or are in the right place etc etc then another beut will come along.
( i got the j5 custom anyways,added some picys for you to look at!) but yours is nicer!!!
so no stress man
