2. Hi everyone

Up for sale is my lovely OLP Stingray Tony Levin 5 string bass.

It has a lovely playable maple neck and plenty of power from the tone controls (bass, mid, high)
There are no scratches or dings - just like new. It's just sitting at home and has only been gigged twice.

Here are some pictures.

3. I recently bought an Electro Harmonix Bassballs pedal but I am experiencing problems when using with a power supply. With a 9v battery it’s fine but when I use my multi-pedal power supply it whistles like mad !
I am powering two other pedals but I have eliminated them as part of the problem as the Bassballs does this if I just power the pedal on its own with the supply.
The supply is a Soundlab G025MA pedal power 450 (readily available on eBay), it is a centre negative 9v supply & powers the other pedals fine but the EH pedal just whistles like mad when switched on ?
Just to clarify I have not touched the two trim pots inside the pedal.
Help please !

4. Cool - I'd seen this too

Can anyone tell me if I ordered this

http://http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WARWICK-ROCKB...=item19c2f7e1ce

how much would the tax etc be?

I guess what i'm asking is how much would I pay in total?

Has anyone bought from the US before?

cheers

5. Hi Ian
Thank you so much! I'll get in touch with Polar Audio and it's a relief that I can fix it myself :)

Thanks again, I really appreciate this!

Cheers
Hi Nick,

I had the same problem with my RB700/210 but it's an easy fix. You can purchase a new set of wheels from GKs UK distributor Polar Audio:

POLAR AUDIO LTD.
17 ALBERT DR.
BURGESS HILL
WEST SUSSEX RH15 9TN ENGLAND
01444-258258
01444-258444
[email protected]
www.polaraudio.co.uk

Doesn't cost a lot and very easy to fit, you just unscrew the complete wheel cradle and swap in the new one.

6. Hi Everyone

I've just bought one of these excellent Gallien Krueger RB700/115 Mark 2 combos over the weekend (second hand).

The wheels seems to be splitting apart when I'm using the handle (I knew about this before I bought it BTW!) so has anyone had this problem and do you have any recommendations of parts etc? Will it be easy for me to repair or will I need help?

Cheers in advance
Nick

7. Hiya

This 100w combo is about 3 years old (it has the grey fascia to the control panel) - it's in pristine condition, it's got a headphone socket and a CD/Aux Line in so you can practice etc. It's only been used at home, never gigged or driven hard and produces some lovely tones - I'm selling due to needing to upgrade to a more powerful rig. I can email some pictures if you're interested.

I'm after £100 for this, due to the good condition of the combo. I'm in Leeds and would be willing to travel to meet up with anyone who's interested (I reckon postage may be a bit)

Cheers, drop me a PM if you're interested :)

Images for you to look at now

8. Hey guys
I played with Factory Street All Stars, just after the Cardinals - nice to meet you Andy Bassmonkey mate - and thanks very much for letting me use your lovely Ampeg stack - it sounded wonderful!

I had a great time - it was good to see so many people there - all for a good cause!

I haven't played live for about 10 years, so I was a bit nervous but once we hit the first note - I thought what have I been worried about! Great to be back!

Cheers
Nick
:)

9. I went there the other week and was again impressed with the bass guys who served me - nothing seemed to be too much trouble to them, they were very helpful :)
Also have emailed them with an enquiry and they got straight back to me.

I played on a load of basses and really liked the new Squier Jazz Classic Vibe in Olympic White, it was quality and only £249! What was the price for the 70's Classic Jazz bass you refer to?

10. Hello everyone
For sale is my "old faithful"!

It's a 4 string Levinson Blade, Jazz bass shape body in a Deep Purple colour. Gold Hardware and active pickups and electronics, ebony fretboard on a maple neck. This bass is about 10 years old and is very powerful! You'll be able to get a lot of different tones out of it, I've gigged with it for years and it never let me down.
:)

Now comes the slight catch! As you'll see from the pictures, I had a fit of "I'm gonna sand my bass down and re-spray it" rage about a year ago, then changed my mind!! It's only on the back of the bass and doesn't affect the way it plays or anything.

So bearing this in mind, I'm looking for £150 o.n.o.

Any feedback gratefully appreciated

11. Thank you, Waldo, that helps loads - it all makes sense now!

I haven't played anything that good for ages - I could dial up so many different tones, so versatile!
I found it so easy to play - shame it was only a four string!
Would really love to buy a 5 string version of this bass - well maybe one day, eh!
