It's a great guitar but I have to consolidate.
No trades. Price negotiable for a sale.
It's in Surbiton, collection is preferable. -
Cool, I suspect I will.
Thanks

Well I particularly like short scale basses so I have:
Spector Shorty - Love this bass, it's #1
ACG, headless short scale
Fender Flea Jazz - got caught up in the recent gold rush
Status streamline - with me at work (I work away from home)
And that is the line up.
As for what I play: blues, reggae, rock - just with mates. -
Interesting that you say the Spector, I've asked to take delivery of the RA first but I have the option to change it necessary - if I don't love the Rob Allen (pretty good of Mark from bass direct actually).
-
Hmm, tempting but I have a Fender Flea J already. Does that trump the P?
-
So I ordered a Rob Allen Mouse in February and it took a long time, so I was getting twitchy. So I ordered a Spector Carved Top and now they are both arriving next week. I can only take one, so what do I take?

+1. So, how many of us Basschatters have one of these basses then?

I'm sold on the benefits of short scale. I love them so much I've ended up several of them. Flat wounds on the passive ones and round wounds on the active one sound great.
-
This really is a bargain, someone has to be interested! They have great tone, they're so well balanced and the neck on mine is great.
-
I have a Bronco that I picked up on BC. I asked Jamie from At The Creamery, to wind me a pickup (reasonable price too, I think it was under £60) and it sounds great. The Bronco has become my go to bass when I'm worried about the travel conditions. It was a drop-in pickup and I rest my thumb on the top of the pick up too.
-
I didn't know much about ACG basses until I saw comments and reviews on BC. I think I'm going to be really pleased, it's up against my Spector Shorty, so it does have some competition, although this one is passive.
Pickup needs a home

I'm a keen short scale player and I've got a set of Aguilar P bass pickups but now they need a home.
I need help finding a suitable short scale bass for these pickups. They are good pickups, so I want something reasonable to put them in.
All suggestions welcome.
