What is the fingerboard made out of? Rosewood, or something else? (asking because I'm based in Japan, and, well - CITES :(

Yes it is Rosewood, but I'm sure Marek (Stradi) could provide some information on the wood source to help with the import process.

2. A reluctant sale but something needs to go.

£430.00 or reasonable offer

This is a special little bass, ideal for travelling and it really punches above its weight. Standard tuning (EADG), one octave above but with your favourite octave pedal you're into the usual bass sound.

It was specially built for me, and the quality is outstanding.

Features:

• Locking tuners
• Delano quad pickup
• Bespoke bridge
• Fits in a ukulele case (included)
• Light weight
• Hand made

3. New, never opened.

£95.00 + postage.

The Aguilar 60's series Precision bass pickup set gives you the classic 60's thump that can be heard on rock and pop records spanning the last 50 years. Heavy Formvar wire and Alnico V magnets are period-correct parts that give these 60's Series P Bass pickups an authentic tone.

Wire: Heavy Formvar, 42 gauge

Magnets: Alnico V

Leads: Single conductor, cloth-covered

4. I have just received a very nice Rob Allen Mouse 30, fretless from fireproof (Charlie).

The bass is better than described, it was very well packed, communication was clear and item was shipped as planned.

Thanks for the smooth deal.

Big thumbs up for Charlie.

5. The marleaux is very pricey that's why I was wondering. I'm not sure about the rubbery strings on the u-bass options.
In a nutshell I'm looking for a portable bass that I travel with (on a motorbike) that doesn't have rubber strings. I don't mind using an octave pedal.
