  1. I'm making space for a new project, so this amazing and very special custom Mike Lull Bass has to go. It was built in 2019 and I bought it directly from Mike Lull.

This is a very light 3.2kg, short scale P bass with a trans black finish (wood grain visible) on the body, and maple neck and fretboard.

    Perfect condition.

  3. Well, my initial view of the Miezo is that it's excellent. A little heavier than I thought (but not heavy at all), but that's likely due to the Ash wood choice, I'm sure there are lighter options. The strap buttons are well placed and it sits nicely. The pickup sounds really good particularly with the gain up. I have a little bit of setup to look at, just a subtle buzz on the E string, but I was probably going to change the strings anyway.

I think for the money it's a good option, remember there will be import duties to pay when bringing it in from Malaysia, but it was shipped DHL at no additional cost.

  4. The Miezo is here!

I have literally just plugged it in and it has sustain for days. The Bartolini pickup sounds good, the action is low, great carry bag and the size means it's comfortable to play seated or standing. I'll have to try it out properly over the weekend.

Those are by far the prettiest, IMHO. Basic price seems reasonable for a custom build too.

Did you go for any extras?

    Nope.

    Spec:

    Miezo 4 16” scale

    Ash body

    Black stain

    Birdseye maple fingerboard

    Bartolini dual coil pickup (switchable)

    Small knobs, passive

    Black hardware.

    Brass string anchor.

    Satin hand rubbed finish

Sweet. Did you specify the placement of the pickup? I estimate you could get three more on there if you try hard enough ;)

No I left it to Maurizio's judgement, I figured he would know better than me.

Yes you could fit three in that space, which would be interesting and a bit Dingwall like...

Here's the spec. Decided to keep it simple. I have a vox plug headphone, so I'm not adding the headphone amp and I will be playing it at home most the time.

    Some progress made.

The spec is changing to a dual coil pickup with coil tap switch to be added. (no single coil pickups available for 6 weeks)

Looks great - tell me more about the spec! I guess it’ll ‘sit’ further to your left than the wing? What electronics have you chosen?

  9. I never play guitar, so it's time for this amazing guitar to go.

Its a Fender (Mexican) Baja Telecaster that has been converted to an Esquire Tele, with custom hand wound pickups from the Creamery  (https://www.creamery-pickups.co.uk).

The wiring follows Mike Eldred's (Fender custom shop) own specifications, but there is the paired neck pickup, switches and pickguard if you want to return it to standard.

In addition it comes with a hiscox hard case, to keep it safe, even though this guitar has never left the house.

    Postage/courier available at your cost.
