my Sisma JAD & FREER head become my main head since i tried for the first time. during the last 20 years I think I've tried all the best that the market offers .. from transistors, to valves, to hybrids, to Class D. nothing is absolutely comparable to the Sisma!! my last setup was Aguilar Db750 coupled with Bergantino NV610... what used to be a benchmark rig for me, has been absolutely blown away, in every way not for nothing, "sisma" in Italian means earthquake ok, I understand the comments of those who said that it is a very expensive product.. it's not cheap, but the price is more or less in line with the top of the range of several brands, such as trickfish, bergantino, mesa boogie, etc ..but if I'm not mistaken, these other brands are not "handcrafted" and are more classifiable as large-scale products, with different components perhaps pre-assembled... the sisma is the result of a project that took about 5 years... about sixty prototypes... and about 2 years of work by the research and development team on the final prototype, tested on stages and in very different contexts by professional musicians. the sisma is a product made without compromises, by the maniacal genius of Mauro Freddi who is the owner and designer of Jad & Freer, a small Italian artisan reality, which at the moment is reaping the first results of an exhausting design work, even with the Chief preamo , which has now become a permanent part of the pedalboards of sound "guru" bass players like Tim Lefebvre, Ian Martin Allison, Chris Chaney, Sean Hurley, Kevin Scott and many more. For me, as italian bass player, is really amazing to see these sacred monsters use products that are the result of the hard work of a craftsman who comes out of nowhere and has to fight against the overwhelming power of overseas brands that have now monopolized the market (Korg, Fender, Gibson, etc) and I'm not surprised by this success, because they really are products that deserve to be tried. if you need any other more technical details about the earthquake, don't hesitate to ask... I've become a very good friend and supporter of the brand and by now I'm so passionate about this product that I'm trying to make it known. this under is the new amp who will use by Tim Lefebvre on some tour

the fans are really silent. it's nearly impossible to feel them working.. even at low volumes and in the studio. Note that there are THREE fans!!! one works at low speed and is always on, inaudible, and serves to vent the heat of the valve from the chassis. the other 2 fans work in forced circulation and are intelligently managed by a microprocessor, they don't work before 48 degrees, so if you play at home or in the studio, they will never start. after 48 degrees there are 5 speed steps based on the power supplied. the probe that measures the temperature is placed in a strategic position inside the dissipator. another interesting thing, when you turn on the head, all the fans start at maximum speed for a fraction of a second, this is to let out any dust or dirt. The manufacturer, Mauro, is crazy and leaves nothing to chance, it took him 3 years to design this temperature control and management system!!! the head as an extreme test, was made to work at 1.6 ohm for 12 hours in a row, it gets to be barely warm, while other competitors get to boil much earlier!!! this head is world class made!!! I can't play anything else anymore

Very good conditions, used mostly in studio. included original box and instruction manual. quite rare to find... a very versatile studio tube preamp with parametric mids a very good selectable compressor, not too invasive the famous BBE sonic maximizer a DI Jensen Balanced still one of those "made in the USA" products, currently the model is still in production but built in China. suitable for studio use but also excellent for live, coupled to a power amp or inserted in an effects loop of a head. shipping to quote from Italy price is 300 Euros

The two amps sounds great both!! some small details are different aguilar are more warm and comfortable but the sisma and cabs are like a sword in the mix.. more detailed at higher volume.. and linear.. the db750 with Jad&Freer cabs are a perfect match too. I think I will be happy for the future with this amps to match.. …but The sisma head are a little monster… more present and punchy than the db750. and it does not sounds like a class D amp

This night I do an amp battle!! test A/B Jad@Freer stack (sisma head and two 1x12) VS aguilar db750 and Bergantino HDN210
