I bought the Bass VI from a well known guitar shop in 2010, it was sold on behalf of a well known musician who’s name is on the receipt, not the one who’s name and band name are on the case so I don’t know anything about that other than that is exactly how the case was when I bought it. It was a blue refinish when I got it and I had it redone in Dakota red nitro cellulose with a matching headstock and correct style decal, back of neck is original finish. It is a darker red than I can get in the pictures, looking like vintage originals, with chips, dings and checking. The pic guard is not original but made from mint green 3 ply. Two of the machine heads are original but the rest replaced with two different kinds from different periods. Pots have been changed and I’m not sure about the wiring although the pick ups, switches, and control plate and knobs are original as is the trem but the trem arm is missing. Original frets, string tree and strap buttons. Truss rod turns ok. I’m not willing to send this so it’s a collection only where you are welcome to inspect before buying. Thanks, G

I got this tone monster in Philadelphia 2004 and started using it as my main bass up until the end of 2006. I used it for recording Morrissey - Ringleader of the tormentors (singles and b-sides) in Rome where Tony Visconti (who produced the album) kindly signed it. Also used for the live at Earls Court album and many videos and tv appearances. It plays and sounds fantastic! All original except the thumb rest which I added and is from an early 60’s p-bass, tone knob is missing. Plenty of life left in the original frets, straight neck and truss rod turns and original solder on the wiring. Lots of lacquer checking, chips and dings but no cracks, breaks or repairs. I don’t have an original case but can supply a later fender hard case. Sorry I don’t but I do remember the guy I bought it from telling me they are good quality, if you want to try it we can open it up.

90s Trace Elliot 600 watt bi-amp bass head with 12AX7 tube pre-amp + 2 2x10 and 2 2x12 home made speakers. Good condition. The speakers: the Drivers: CELESTION SIDEWINDERS 12" & 10" - 8 ohms each The Cabinets: 2 drivers wired in series = 16 ohms (2x cabinets externally connected together in parallel = 8 ohms)(which means each side of the TE stereo can take a 3rd cab of 8 ohms: min for amp per side = 4ohms) (series:parallel is a common way for wiring up a 4x12 cab) Cabinets self-designed and self-built in collaboration with CELESTION technical department, approving the dimensions and giving me the Thiele port specifications/dimensions. I think I can still find their letter.. Wood used is high-grade 18mm Superwood (MDF??) glued and screwed collection only.

I bought this brand new in 2015 and did a couple of rehearsals and gigs then retired it to the case as I went back to my Fender P-bass. A great player with plenty of tone variety and like new condition.
