  1. Probably the best dirt pedal ive ever used but i recently got a Helix and ive pretty much managed to nail the same tone through that so letting this go. Its obviously only a few weeks old, in perfect condition and comes with the box and all the bits in it.

    Price includes shipping.

  2. Mine arrived yesterday, had a very busy day so only got to spend some time with it at around 11pm last night, its so much fun! I didn't get to bed until 3.45am.

Ive never owned nor used a Helix before , a few guys ive worked with have but ive never touched one before, it s so intuitive, within half hour i felt like ive been using one for ages. Its replaced everything on my board except the X7 which i'm running in the loop (i actually spent a bit of time trying to recreate the X7 on the Helix and you can get damn close but the amount of blocks it took me means that wont be an option so as i thought that wont be going anywhere). The Cab and Amps are really impressive, and i'm just getting to know the edit software after doing the update.

    I like this a lot!

  3. Looking to move this on, its virtually brand new, been used for 2 shows and a few rehearsals.

Great cab just not quite for me.

This is the 2 Ohm version so ideal for some of the newer Class D's or an SVT user, it really is monstrously loud!

I had this one made with a black cloth grill, looks killer with an SVT on top.

I can ship this is needed.

I might consider a trade but the only things im looking for just now are a 5 string Sandberg VM with an aged finish or maybe an Ampeg 410hlf (relatively new).

  4. I love these cases but i have one i don't need now due to me selling a bass plus its original case and replacing it with a Sandberg 48 which doesn't fit in this (much to my annoyance as these are the only cases i really trust!) Anyway i have one of these plus the matching Tick (2.0 version) which is great for cables or small pedalboards.

These are frankly ridiculous money now (the pair shipped from Bass Direct is £285!) but il do the pair for £175 Shipped, these have been used a little but are fairly new (still have the tags on) and there are no tears or faults of any kind.

Will split but would rather sell together, message me if you are just after one though.

@Bearfist just sold one, he may have some more insight.

I thought it was great, the bus side was probably my favourite pedal comp ive used, particularly into a dirt pedal, i did like the Cali side but only really got on with that when not going into dirt, its got a cool vibe that didn't work for me in anything other than isolation and i didn't overly care for the SS side, it was only when i had instant access to other comps did i realise how much i didn't like the SS which is a worry considering i had one on my board for about a year before getting the HL. The filter and the extra options in the suit are really great too.

Only sold it as i'm now compless, i'm running an X7 always on with a fairly hi drive and high comp setting on the clean side so i just don't need a separate comp (coincidentally the comp setting on the clean side of the X7 is the bus side of the HL with almost identical settings to those i was using, it sounds fantastic and is probably the best thing about the X7, the clean side is just awesome).

If i ever needed another pedal comp i'd get one again.

@Bearfist good score, awesome bass. Hölger is an absolute dude, and you could have asked me, i’d Have told ya!

This is high on my gas list and is just a badass bass, you will look the nuts.

@dannybuoy yeah that Enigma is cool. It is likely different again, split coil or not. Each Sig bass has the pup positioning slightly different to standard models so despite apparently looking the same there will be very slight differences.

And then of course there is the differences between Sandberg pick ups, sandberg black labels, Haüssel, delano

    they are all great

    Thanks mate!

Yeah i know these usually have the VM but the shop listing and the invoice i got both had this one down as a TM, i thought that was likely wrong as when i checked that with the shop they didn't have a clue what i was asking so i mailed Holger over the serial to confirm what this one actually had.

Your reverse headstock is lovely mate, bit jealous now ha! All the pictures on the listing for this one all had reverse a headstock and the description said this has one, turns out the shop sold that one but never updated the page so i got this one, never mind, still happy with it.

  7. Yeah i like that too, spotted it when i was hunting for this 48 recently.

Funny you should mention the pickups, there was also some confusion on the listing about the pickup configuration this one had, part of the description said it was a TM and part said it was a VM configuration (which is standard on these i believe) so i spoke to Holger this afternoon and he clarified my one has the standard split coil (VM) in the neck, what ever it is sounded great but good to actual know.

  8. Thought i'd chuck this in here.

Been thinking about one of these for a while now, finally found one i wanted.

There's a little confusion still on going with the shop as they had it listed with a reverse headstock which ultimately was the clincher in me ordering this one but at some point they sold the one pictured/described and got another in without the reverse headstock and didnt update it, bit annoyed but i do love it!

    Anyway here it is.
