Looks great from those updated pics. If you have to replace all the hardware it'll still be a bargain if the woodwork is solid.

Yes I'm interested to see what size the pickups are, maybe some emgs will fit? -
When it arrives I will probably do an unboxing and demo video and upload some high res pics

So I got some pics today of my bass still being built, so far it looks good, the seller has estimated a week until it's finished.

Stick with the Markbass, there reliable, if you do have an issue talk to Real Electronics (Authorised Markbass spares and repairs in the UK)

The cabs are Markbass Club 121 which can be tilted back, the angle is quite sharp though (about 45 degrees) so I'm not sure foam would do it. Also they're tolex covered so Velcro might not be an option.
I've had a look at acrylic book stands but they're about 30 quid and don't look ideal.

What is the amp head? I have a Markbass setup and use the Velcro tilt back amp stand thing but I have the head in a Markbass head back which has Velcro and holds it in place.
The bags are £70 though! -

Here's my gig rig and my practice setup to the right -
Hook on pedal > Loop on board

Ive got It working now, but it was a f**king nightmare getting it crammed into my '98 Stingray, considering it was designed as a replacement its a ball ache
-
Im not being a div, you can use the preamp with a passive pickup right?
-
Thanks @Subbeh

When i arrived you can come and have a blast if you want Si

I have just purchased one of these preamps and have fit it to the diagram specs even through the diagram is for a STC 3M3 4 not a STC 3M3 3.
Has anyone fits one of these and can send me pics of it installed on a Musicman, mine seems to have a very low output?
Any help is greatly appreciated -

Friend of mine has one of those Chinese Fodera copies, well it's of course not a Fodera but a good bass for £250 though.

Cool, did he do anything to it or swap parts or pups etc? -

Seems to me the import duty, VAT and handling fees will be £80 minimum. I reckon you need to be mentally (and financially) prepared for something around £100.

Yes I'm prepared, sometimes it's less sometimes it's more depends how the class it on the declaration too, you never know -

It's certainly ugly enough to pass for a Fodera :-)
At that price I wonder if they'll actually use a burled wood top or if it's just a pattern printed on?
I'm interested to see what it's like when you actually get it.

Haha
I will take some decent pics and maybe do a video of tones so you get an idea when it arrives -

Thats the tricky bit, some of the sellers show in the ads are authentic guitars to draw you in, your better off asking for pictures of what your gonna get. And pay by credit card, the website has payment protection but just to be double safe.
AliExpress is the site but they seller I'm using is

So what kind of options did you have when you ordered this bar the logo?
I believe you can specify whatever you want, they are made to order
I was offered a maple neck with block inlays but chose the rosewood with dots -

A tad cheaper than a real one then...

slight step down in quality -

How much ?
£250 free delivery, but there will be taxes and import costs of £20 - £80 when it hits the UK -
