The above pedal has been reliable since I got it, but It's developed a heavy buzzing/hissing sound and changes in level when you adjust the pedals level.

Just wondered if anyone has had the same problem, and if they know how to fix it. I'm not too scared of going inside the thing, could be fun.

Also, are there any people out there who've tried different tubes in it - I'm considering trying something else - if the whole pedal isn't totally w**nked.

Great post here - a bit of a must read for anyone!

I've sussed that my pedal is making a hell of a lot of noise - It's an 'Aria TD1 Platinum Drive Tube Distortion Pedal'

I've been using it for a while now with no problems at all, but in the last week a hell of a lot of 'noise' has been generated through my amp. I'm presuming it's the pedal, as when you change the level of it the noise gets louder/quieter.

What kind of faults occur in pedals, and what's the best way of getting them sorted!

depends what you'd class as a decent combo - I'm offering my ashdown mag 300. Great little combo, but ashdown are a bit like marmite on this forum (you can make your own mind up) - I love this amp!

Very nice fellow,

Bought my H+H bass rig off me, and has almost got it running fully! He also came and picked it up, included a pedal in the price (for a very reasonable fee), and was a quality chap when it made no noise when i showed him the amp.... :-( that was almost funny!

Anyway, will deffo be buying/selling with this fellow again!
