1. Hi Marc

Thanks for the bump. Yes it is a nice looking bass. Cheers. The strings it came with are Fender® USA Bass 9050M Stainless Steel Flatwound, (.055, .070, .090 .105 Gauges). They have the same ball colours as D'addarios - so I guess that they are made by them.

Have reluctantly decided to sell my Fender Standard Fretless Jazz Bass. It is a joy to play. Lightweight for a Jazz (8.64Ibs). Really lovely sound. Comes as sold - no case.

I bought this in April 2015 from Guitarguitar. It is in absolutely perfect condition apart from small hardly noticable ding in the dark section of the bass (which I think was there when I bought it) and a weird ding I put in when I caught it on the edge of the table- d'oh! Only been gigged once - at a school fete! There is no wear to the fretboard as bass came with flats.

Further information about the bass can be found here - http://intl.fender.c...ckguard-no-bag/ Price includes UK shipping. Sorry, no trades.

    I am based near Brighton.

    Cheers

  3. Charlie Chaplin played the violin as a left handed. See:

My daughter plays the bass left handed but is right handed but has the strings as a right-hander would as this makes sense to her - lowest string at the bottom. I know of a few bassists who do this - Lee Pomeroy I think is one.

  4. My daughter is right-handed but plays guitars as a leftie. No idea why! As I'm right-handed the strings are the usual way around. But - she likes the E at the bottom as she says this is logical - the lowest string at the bottom and the highest string at the top. Can't really argue with that logic! I tried...
