    Looking fwd to Friday. Going to see Soul II Soul at Islington Assembly Rooms with the better half. If you don't know already, Jazzy B has a show on Solar Radio on Sunday afternoons. Well worth a listen for us low-enders! :-)

    Evening fellow thumpers! My friend Dino - of the band Hard Drive - has asked me to post this as he's not yet a member - tsk tsk! He is selling his Ashdown MAG210T (8 Ohm 250W) cab which he's had for less than a year due to logistics(i.e. it won't fit in his car with the rest of his gear!). It works fine (I've heard it!) and has a couple of small cosmetic scuffs but apart from that it's perfect. Asking price - £100 o.v.n.o.     Got the paper, got the CD. Chucked the paper, 50/50 on the disc! Gonna stick it on the iPod and listen to it over the next week on the way to work. Like others have said, some of Princes' trax take a li'l time to grow on you, just hope it's not too long, going grey already! Saw him at the O2(from a distance!) but missed out on the after-shows. Damn and blast and..! First impression. If B-sides were still around, that's what it sounds like so far, or, tunes that have been hanging aroung 'the vault' at Paisley Park since the 80's! Time will tell, eh? "My name is Prince, and I am............older". Time to dig out the Black Album. Camille, where you at bro!

    Johnny, I'd forgotten all about Erykah Badu! I've got the studio album this track was on, it was her debut I think. That's this w/e's listening sorted then. It's great to have all this in one go - video, notation and tab and it gets me checking out the artists too. There's so much good music on the net now, I get yelled at by my better half for spending way too much time sitting here with my little practice amp, bass in hand trying to get my chops up. Yes, I said 'bass' F'nar! Another winner Mr C. Ta-ta TC

    Hi Jay, Typical ain't it? I would've loved to have helped you out with this one Sir but I'm gigging on the same day. I say 'typical' because it's been a bit quiet for the trib I play with over the last couple of months, July's a busy one. Should be grateful I suppose!
