Thanks, I paid £150 shipped from a BC'er and have added knobs and a new battery carrier. So I think £150 is a very fair price

This girls playing makes me cry.

Her technique is flawless. Her innovation is spectacular. She is musical, in so much as no notes are wasted.

I honestly think she is the best bassist I have heard since Jaco. I think we are about to witness the next bass phenomenon.

And she has some proper bass face....

This bass was one of 4 I made to this design. If my memory serves me correctly the body is ash with a European oak top.

Disclosure were superb on Friday with Howard playing live bass (Fender Jazz) and getting some mean tones from it.

I have both fretted and fretless Luthite bodied Curbows that weigh in around the 7lb mark and can be had for £150.00 secondhand.

I think Monz had one but he has not been active since March 2015.
It had plenty of 'balls' as I remember.
