As far as I remember, He's said that Under the Bridge and Munky Monks were on a Stingray5 and Aeroplane off One Hot Minute was on a Stingray. Any others?
Oops, some ruffled feathers? I come in peace, honest!

I definitely saw footage of him playing a Wal in the BSSM sessions back in the day. It's probably on Youtube by now. Either way it really doesn't matter in the great scheme of things.

His demands for endorsements seem very OTT, by the way.

  2. Hehe. Good on Graeme/Jacko I say - he built exactly what he was after. I'll bet it sounds pretty good, too.

P.S. Did anyone PM the guy about this thread?

  3. Despite the recent economic goings-on Fenders still bring in the cash due to current fashions and heritage, but the market is indeed quite depressed at the moment if you're selling anything else.....

Having said that, isn't the new-wave revival / indie landill scene on its last legs now?

  4. Stunning bass.

You may have to be a little patient though, basses don't seem to be selling heavily at the moment. Perhaps it's the credit crunch, or maybe the hot weather! :)
I've obviously got this guitar up for too much so I'm dropping it to £1400-they are three grand new and this one is "as new"!!
5.
David Williams died recently. Apparently he was so poor he couldn't afford to pay for treatment. How sad is that?
Yes, I heard this - utterly shameful. Makes me all the more grateful for the NHS.

  6. Thumb basses rule. :) Loads of tone. The BO version has more mids and can do a great P impression. The NT is a little more polite sounding with more lows and clearer sustain.

I'd say that if you go for a Thumb, the BO would suit you better. Either way, be sure to try both as they are very different animals.
