  1. Really nice looking bass :-) I have been interested in Lakland basses for a while.. Unfortunately I've never had a chance to play one! Do you have any sound clips of this bass? What's the neck profile on this model? Many thanks, Mikey
  2. Wow! Beautiful finish.. Bet she sounds as good as she looks! If i only had the money..
  3. I'm currently using one these amps for gigging. Great versatile sound and really easy to tweak to your style/liking. Volume holds up really well with a full band and punches through nicely! Good investment and hope it serves you just as well as mine has, enjoy getting back into your bass!
  4. Hello fellow bass players! I was introduced to this site by a friend of mine and I'm really looking forward to getting involved with all the great stuff going on here! I started playing bass 10 years ago where i started a college music course as a guitarist and ended up on bass because of a shortage! I look back on this as a great thing as its lead me into being in a stint with a successful original band where i got the opportunity to tour and play festivals and also play with some great musicians in cover bands over the years! I'm currently playing in a cover band playing classic and modern rock numbers. Although the guitar has been my main instrument of study over college and university, over the last couple of years I've really been pushing my bass playing and the hard work is finally starting to pay off to a point im feeling quite confident in my ability. My favorite stuff to jam out on the bass is funk/fusion and old skool r n b :-) The gear I'm using at this moment in time is a 4 String Fender Jazz, A custom made 5 string (looks like a Warwick thumb bass) and I'm playing through a Trace Elliot 715 GP 7 Combo. Looking forward to meeting, chatting and looking at gear i wish i could afford! Haha. Thanks, Mikey
