1. I'd think on it - ideally not if I'm being toally honest since i could do with the space. Feel free to drop a PM with the parts yo're interested in and an offer though and I'll have a think.
2. Hello folks! Due to a bit of a shift around in my life it looks like I'm not going to be playing live for a while so I'm selling the above rig. I bought this lovely lot brand new at the beginning of the year and have only gigged it around five times (thanks to a 5 month hiatus on the part of singer!). As such the cabs and the head are in great condition with only a couple of knocks here and there but none going through to the wood beneath - just the general bumps that get picked up when loading unloading from cars/ vans. I absolutely love this rig but its just to big to justify having about the flat. There are so many great features - TC's tubetone, the spectracomp, the ability to have three pre-set sounds. The cabs are wonderfully lightweight - I'm by no means a big man and I can carry both cabs at once. For full spec etc then the TC Electronic site is brilliant (there are sound sample on there too) - http://www.tcelectronic.com/bh500.asp I'm looking for offers around £690 for the rig which represents a great saving over the price you'd pay brand new for this lot and as stated the rig is in great condition. People are more than welcome to come round and test the amp out - I'm based in North London (N3 1NL) but I do venture to Leicester every so often to see the family so might be able to work something out. 3. Hi folks, I've just taken advantage of TC Electronic's wonderful summer offer of BOGOF on their cabs so my Ashdown combo has go to go! Just not enough room in the flat! I'll post some pictures of the combo itself tomorrow - a friend is borrowing it this evening - but suffice to say its in great condition with barley a scratch on it. Its been gigged but not heavily. The link below is to Ashdown's website which gives the tech specs. Ashdown | Mag 300 210 All told this thing has stood me in great stead and done everything I've asked it to do! I should note though that this is the version WITHOUT THE BUILT IN COMPRESSOR. I'm really wanting to avoid posting if possible but if anyone wants to send a courier to collect then I'm open to that. The amp is located in Nuneaton in Warwickshire (CV11 6LA) though I work in Milton Keynes - if anyone can collect during the day (9-5) then I'm sure we can sort something. As for price - £250 and its yours. Pictures:
4.
have abump, i know some very good guitar players who rave about these
Thanks man, yeah they're sweet guitars for the price.
5. Hola folks, Having a bit of a clearout at the moment and this beauty just isnt being played enough since I'm 100% bass at the moment. These guitars have had great reviews in all the usual places and are really highly rated LP copies. This one's in a very sexy cherry sunburst with gold hardware - took me a while to track it down in left handed. Long story short - its barely been played since I bought it new at the beginning of the year. It plays really nicely- good slim neck but still easy to fret. Its in pretty much mint condition - just a couple of dings around the jack insert where my nephew caught it with a jack lead. I'm bundling it in with a Roland Cube 15 which is a cool little amp for home practice, great clean channel and four crunchier ones to flip through as your heart desires. Lastly I'll throw in the strap that's on it at the moment. There'd be a cable with it too but I'm down to my last one - if I find a spare I'll throw that in too. I'm looking for £210 for the lot but I'm open to decent offers - especially if anyone is able to do cash on collection thus avoiding being mugged by Paypal. I'm in Nuneaton in Warwickshire but I do work in Milton Keynes if that helps anyone. I'm about this afternoon and then most evenings this week - just give me a shout. If aynone needs this lot posting - it'll likely be about £15 for the guitar and £10 for the amp but I'll check that out and only charge accordingly. Alternatively if anyone wants to send a courier we can work something out!
6. Hi there, Looking to clear out a couple of pedals... I've an MXR Dyna Comp - pretty much brand new (bought at Christmas and been on my board for a month) - £50 posted. http://img860.imageshack.us/i/mxrdynacomp.jpg/ BBE Sonic Stomp: Sonic Maximiser - cracking pedal that I've used with guitar and bass that helps round your tone off nicely! This one's had a couple of knocks to the case but works perfectly - £75 posted. http://img94.imageshack.us/i/sonicstomp.jpg/ Either Paypal or cash on collection from CV11! Fire away with any questions!
7. Thanks for the link through on the first post man, appreciated.
8. I posted this seperately but I thought I'll drop it down in here as well... I'm looking to sell my Tanglewood Canyon II active bass, left-handed that I bought in September 2007. The bass hass been really well looked after and has barely a mark on it, the only mark being a scuff from my belt on the rear of the body. I've loved this bass very much but it just doesn't fit in with what I'm doing at the moment so I can't really justify keeping it. The neck is slimmer than a jazz bass (which is saying something!) which means you can easily reach all of the 24 frets the bass has. There's a single soap bar pickup in the middle, and being an active you obviously have the full range of tonal control- high, mid and trebble as well as a volume control. It also features an amazing through-neck which gives the bass great sustain and clarity. Pictures can be seen over at http://s581.photobucket.com/albums/ss254/kasnoo2000/ If anyone wants any others, just message me. RRP on this is £550, I'm looking for around £300- offers considered! An ace midrange bass for we lefties!
9.
Lovely looking bass mate, if you haven't already it's worth mentioning your sale in the lefty thread - it's a sticky at the top of the basses for sale section.
Oddly I just read that thread and opened this up to copy and paste this into there! Thanks for the heads up though mate.

11. I've been using Energizer rechargables for a while now. They last for decent while if you give a good hefty over-night charge, though to tell the truth I never feel the full benefit since I seem to leave a cable plugged into my bass at least once a week thus draining the battery
12. I get off pretty well- my gf's dad has been playing guitar since he was about 18 so she's used to a) the noise and b ) instruments all over the place Oh and the serial purchasing of multiple guitars. Also makes for an ace relationship with my prospective father in law!
She understands what makes a good 'un (sonically speaking) I generally try to drag her along when making purchasing decisions. She's probably more objective than I am!!
I do the same- she's more objective and very good at telling if something sounds good or bad. Unfortunately shes the same way with my playing... I soon know if im having an off night!
13. I play a Tanglewood Canyon II which is an active. I didn't really go in for it because it was active- in fact (which shows how these things go) I was specifically not looking for an active. In the end though I liked the sound it made and the and decided to roll with the fact it was active. I'd agree with the noise issue, I've noticed it picks up interference from my laptop (which can make learning songs awkward). Having said that, i'm looking for a passive jazz as a back up- you never know when youll have to play under strip lighting next to an in-use microwave in a thunderstorm...

15. Anyone know what these are like? (http://www.tanglewoodguitars.co.uk/products/default.asp?cID=26463296&sID=66460045) I love Tanglewood guitars, I think theyre great quality for the money. I'm looking to get a decent jazz bass I can use for cartin round- my other is a little too fragile for being hefted from pillar to post. Just wondered if anyones played one? I can't find one in my area at all (Leicester).
16. The SC in Leicester is also thin on the ground. To be honest (and without sounding like a moaning git) I'm not surprised SC is going downhill, the service at the one in Leicester is dreadful.

18. Thanks for the welcome guys. Yes my Canyon II is indeed sexy! and brilliantly light to boot.
