1. 'Evening.

I've decided to move on my 8 track recording system, no time to use it anymore
and it's a shame to have it hanging around.

The D 108 is a pro level 8 track digital recorder, 8 simultaneous track recording
at 44.1 or 48K. 8 analogue inputs/outputs also has Adat optical I/O
I've had this fitted with a western digital Barracuda 40gig drive which gives
over 6 hrs recording time.

This unit is in great condition having always been flightcased. I've recorded
albums which have been released with this unit including the 1000 welsh
voices at the Albert Hall! The most practical application I've found for it
is remote drum recording in a nice room, then dumping the tracks in my
DAW via the adat interface.

Second part of the package is my Mackie CR1604 desk, 16 balanced inputs,
6 on xlr's 8 direct outs, lovely 3 band eq, 4 aux sends.
A quality analogue desk, perfect companion to digital recorders
also great for live PA use. The desk is in very good nick, some wear on
the print on the main output faders. No problems with electrics or i/o's.
Rack ears included.

Asking £190 for the package or will split at £100 for the D108 and £110 for
the desk, plus p&p or cost of fuel along M4/M5 corridor (based in S. Wales)

Thanks, Gary.

2. Hello All,

Selling my G&L 2500 fretless, got it as a fallback bass for when my Pedulla went.
In the strange world of Basschat I was offered a beautiful Marleaux 5 in a
P/X deal for said Pedulla so the G&L is surplus to requirements.

It's a 1997 USA model(had the neck off), Swamp Ash body, premium see through
finish, with a lined Ebony fingerboard only available now as a custom order.
String spacing is 17.5mm at the bridge.
Very versatile sounding bass, does Jazz Precision, Musicman all well as some
great variations an the above. It's set up with a low action with plenty of
mwahh, and growl in the lower registers.
Controls are vol/treble/bass, switch one, passive, active, active with treble boost,
switch two, series parallel, switch three, p/up selector.

The bass is in great condition, no dings I can't even see any surface scratches
fingerboard is also excellent. Comes with an ABS G&L case, also in great nick.

This bass was played by a few 'chatters at the recent bash in Cardiff and
proved very popular with the guys.

I'm looking for £575 plus P&P also pickup or meeting is fine, I'm based in South Wales.
I could be interested in a CIJ '62 fretted Jazz and £200 cash, what's out there?

Cheers,

Gary

3. Afternoon all.

I've decided clear out some stuff I've been hanging on to,
for projects I know I'll never put together .....So,

Bartolini NTMB 9 volt pre, mounted on Jazz plate
configured vol, pan, mid cut/boost and stacked Bass&treble cut/boost.
Couple of 3 way switches on plate as well, not wired at the mo'.
It's got a 25kpot for Emg's wired in but I've included a 100k for
passive p/ups, all working, diagram on Bartolini site. £45 posted.

Nordstrand Big Single P/up some tarnishing on pole pieces works fine £35 posted.

Pair of Emg active soapbars 35p and 35j for four string basses, wear on cover but working
fine. Emg have details inc wiring details on site. £35 posted.

Set of 5 Schaller M4 machine heads, 3 bass side 2 treble, 12mm shaft excellent condition. £30 posted.

Thats all for now folks!

Thanks,

Gary.

It's with a very heavy heart I've decided to put my beautiful fretless Pentabuzz up for sale,
but having been made redundant and most gigs disappearing in a cloud of Duo's
and Karaoke give me no option. Taking a 3K bass to pub gigs is also not an option.

The Pentabuzz was bought new from Mansons in 2007 I'm the second owner having
bought it from Bow on the forum earlier on in the year.
It's in almost mint condition, with one very small mark on the rear of the headstock
you can see it in one of the pix.

The bass is Vintage Cherry Sunburst over 5A flame maple, Bart p/ups and pre
with a mid range cut/boost switch. The fingerboard coating has only very slight
superficial marking, I only use coated Elixirs on it. String spacing is 19mm at
the bridge. Playability and range of sounds are wonderful, from the trademark
Pedulla growl to Jaco, Pino and a huge dubby sound from the neck pickup.
The Pedulla case and tools are also included, case is as new.

New price for one these with a 5A top is over £3K I'm looking for £1600 as
a straight sale or I'll take another fretless 4 or 5 up to around £600 as a
part ex, can't be without one.

I'm in South Wales but could meet up, I don't want to post, but would
be prepared to If distance was a problem.

Cheers,

5. Hi,

Selling my Schroeder 1212L 8ohm version, got it new in July.
Used it on around a dozen gigs, it's as new.
Black Rhino finish, latest model.
Got the 8ohm version as I was under the impression it was "bass shy",
how wrong could I be. No need for an extra cab, loads of
volume, punch and clarity with my Markbass SA450 using
fretted and fretless 5 stringers, low B no problem.
I used it once with an 8ohm P Audio 12" sub, crazy bass extension
but I don't do Dub!

Sorry no pics at the mo, memory card screwed.
Lots of info on the Schroeder or SHX sites

£450 plus postage(have original box) or pickup fro S.Wales welcome.

Thanks all,

Gary.

7. Hi,

Sorry for the strange description, I'll try and make sense of it.

I got this cab from Sharkfinger a few weeks ago and I've used it on
10 gigs. It's an amazing little cab(SA450 for scale not sale!)
five string no problem, great tone, volume and projection, at only 20lbs.

The problem is I tend to do deps quite a bit and if the 'P.A.' isn't
up to scratch I'd rather not go through it. Last week I was struggling with
two loud guitarists, keys and drums.
It's been fantastic on the other gigs, on its own and through a good P.A,
amazing stage sound.

Two of these would be great, but the wait for another 8ohm version
is around 6 weeks, same for the 115 version, so anyone got one or the 115L for sale?

Failing that I'll sell this and get a 1212L which will do the job and fit in my cars' boot.

I got this cab for a very good price and I'm passing that on here, so It's £260
including courier to mainland U.K.

I'm in South Wales and pickup is fine

Thanks everyone,

Gary.

8. Hi All,

I need to look for a two cab solution, so I'm having to sell/trade my NEOX 212T 600watts at 4 ohms.
My ideal trade deal would involve 2 NEOX 112's with cash from me or 1 112 with cash my way.
I would also be interested in a Schroeder 1212L 4 or 8 ohms I've got a mini 12+ and it's a great cab.
The cash price is £400.

The 212T is in great nick, comes with a padded cover, also excellent, always transported by car.
New car on the way, with boot, and it just won't fit!

These are brilliant cabs, amazing bass extension, B string no problem and very even across
the range. Full spec can be found on the Genz Benz site or from the fab Bass Direct.

I'm in S.Wales, any trial is welcome. Could also meet up on M4/M5 corridor
for price of Diesel.

Thanks,

Gary.

9. 'Evening,

Selling my Squire modified fretless bass due to my impending Pedulla bill!
These are great basses, lovely neck and phenolic fingerboard, well made,
nice finish but let down by some of the hardware....
So I put a Badass on it, installed at the correct angle, an Emg J set
and added a scratchplate, looks better to me and I'm a huge Jaco fan.
Also waxed the neck, looked a bit too white.

It's very well set up, very low action plenty of growl and mwaaa.

The bass in in excellent condition, some slight string scoring on board,
no effect on playability or sound.

I'm asking £220 plus postage. I realise these are around £250 new,
but the cost of the upgrades is reflected in the price.

Pickup is fine, I'm in South Wales,

Cheers,

Gary.

10. Hi All,

I'm selling my Marty Siggery 5 string, I'm the second owner, the guy who
commissioned it is obviously a Sadowsky M5 24 fan...who isn't.
Marty's a excellent luthier based in Kent. The quality of his work,
choice of woods and hardware is terrific, Google him, well worth a look.

The Roadbass is his top of the line model, original price was around £1500
for this example. I bought off Ebay around 6 months ago, had it set up and rewired,
it's passive with a series/parallel/single coil switch for each p/up. Had a bart pre in it
for a while but I prefer the sound with just the switching options, these pups are
certainly not "dark" sounding, great range of very "musical" tones.

I'm selling it because a bass I've after for around a year has become available,
and it's not cheap! Pedulla's rarely are.

The bass is in superb condition, no dings to report.

Anyhow..Bass Spec:

Alder body with a 1/4 inch figured maple cap.
Maple neck 35" scale, 24 fret maple fingerboard, figured maple Headstock.
Bartolini usa CB soapbars.
Abm bridge, 19mm spacing.
Hipshot Ultralight tuners.
Abs case included.
Pix:

I'm asking £600 plus P&P for this beauty, I'm sure if Marty was better known it would be more.
I'm in South Wales, any trials are most welcome, so is a 'halfway' meetup.

Thanks,

Gary.

11. Hi all and Happy New Year(almost).

I've decided to put my 55 01 up due to my never ending quest for a
Fretless I'd be happy with.

It's a Dlx model with the most beautiful Quilt Maple top in
Cherry Sunburst.

I got it from Shaun B a while ago and was amazed by the feel, construction
and playability, crazy low action. I thought a bass of this quality would have
great p/ups and preamp but sadly, no. So I replaced the P/ups with Nordstrands,
Fatstack at the bridge and Big Single at the neck. I also replaced the pre with
the excellent Glockenklang 3 band unit, the pre is configured vol, pan, bass mid treble.
Pulling up the volume pot bypasses the eq but the treble still functions as a
passive tone control...clever. The bypass and passive tone also work if the battery dies.

So now the bass sounds fantastic, from vintage J and P to modern and hifi.
A friend of mine who owns a 55 02 was so knocked out with the sound he's
also going down the Nord, Glock route.

As I said, this is going to fund or trade for a fretless 4 or 5. Px against a
Pedulla Buzz would be fab and I'm also fond of fretless Graphite necks
Sale price is £600 this includes a fitted ABS case.
Pix :

Any trials are more than welcome. I'm based in South Wales.

Thanks,

Gary

12. 'Evening all,

I've had this beauty for around a year, but I'm not playing enough gigs on fretted
to keep it, the pimped Lakland I have takes care of them.

I'ts got a Swamp ash body with a Burl Malee droptop, 34"scale Maple and wenge neck with
a lovely Birdseye Maple fingerboard, 18m spacing at the bridge. The pickups are Seymour Duncan in a
MM/J configuration. The MM is the Alinco model with Series/Parallel/Single Coil switching.
Preamp is Shuker 3 band, with mid frequency pot in the cavity.

The sounds great and very versatile nails the mm sound even on the B string
also does a great J and P range of sounds.

The neck is very comfortable, with a shallow profile back to front, also the bass
is lightweight, much lighter than my Lak , Zoot 5 or MiJ Jazz.

It's in terrific condition, well looked after, can't see any fretwear

Ideally I'm looking for a trade deal with a Pedulla Pentabuzz or a 4 sting Buzz
I'd also consider a Eub, Steinberger? or higher end J type. I have some cash to
add to trade for the right instrument.

Some Pixs:

I'm based in South Wales but will travel to work out a trade.

Thanks,

Gary.
