Sale/trade value £150 Peavey Mark 1V bass amp 210 watts @ 4ohms,300 watts @ 2 ohms.1980`s Original owners manual and footswitch Two Peavey 210tx cabs 350 watt program,175 watts continuous,4 ohms. Peavey 115 Bx (Black widow) cab 700 watts,4 ohms. New rig purchased,so they have to go! Said the Mr`s. This rig has been extensively used by me over the past 20 years or so. Bass head. Has developed an issue where when you turn the amp on there is a crackling sound and not much volume, the crackling then fades away and volume is restored. Its been sat around in the house for about 2 years with no use, previously it had no issues. Don't have time to get it fixed. Hence the price. 210 TX cabs. Note, Top right speaker has been replaced with an Eminence Alpha 10a which is not full range,it is bass/mid, but i`ve never noticed any loss in sound quality. Both cabs are in full working order. 115 cab. Full working order. Plastic rear jack mount broke off so I had it replaced with a steel plate. Any questions,feel free to ask! Location is YO11 Viewings welcome, would recommend it! Can deliver (50 miles) for petrol money.

  9. Thanks for advice guys Think I'll invest in a brass nut. Can't see that braking.
  10. Anybody had the same problem? and how to go about resolving it. The clip that fits around the outside of the nut has snapped off and gone missing.(pic on left) The clip itself is part of the neck/head (pic on right) The nut itself is fine and stays in place until I change strings and then it falls out! 😕 Don't really want to lose the nut as well New nut maybe? But not sure how a new one would fasten on. Any suggestions would be much appreciated! Thanks.

  13. Hi All! Signed up with Basschat a few weeks ago and thought I'd better introduce myself. My name is Chris and I'm from North Yorkshire. Bought my first bass back in 1984 but never took to playing it seriously. In 1991 I purchased An Ibanez Sr800 which i still play today but has recently started with electrical issues. Have been using Peavey amps for past 20 years but as well they have had their day so I had no choice but to buy new! Current setup is, Fender precision deluxe 60th anniversary,Black,maple. Genz Benz Shuttle max 9.2 head. x2 Genz Benz focus 4x10 cabs. Various effects and processors. Playing in covers bands has been a big part of my semi-pro career and have done numerous studio recordings with original acts. Have items to repair,items to sell,items I want to buy and generally all Things bass id like to chat about so I'll hopefully see you all over in the corresponding forums. Later! Chris.
