Love these, we covered a couple of their songs last year.
-
A brand new unopened pack of TI flats to trade for Labella 760fls only.

I play most days and have a pretty light touch, I set my basses up with a 2mm gap at the 12th fret so reasonably low, we do practise pretty hard and do pretty much go straight through the three hours, I think I can already tell a difference with the TIs but will have a better idea when we practise again (once everyone is back from their holidays!)

Do higher tension strings cause pain /fatigue in your plucking hand, been using Labella FS which I love, but after a three hour session I'm finding I'm waking up in the night with wrist pain, going to try some old TI flats to see if they make any difference, love TIs too so not so bothered about the change.

Never used antlything else, but very impressed with these, I'm not sure what you get by paying more than this, build quality is great!

You just have to love these, the new red one and wood effect ones look fantastic. Used this several times now and it's been flawless, plenty of battery charge in these little beauties to keep you goin all night.

Does anyone have a good transcript for Dean Town keys, our keyboard player is struggling with some of the jazzy chords and what's on line doesn't seem so accurate...

I had the Heritage B-15 and thought it had plenty of power, I moved it on because it was too awkward / heavy and precious to gig with, it was sat looking beautiful in my front room but wasted, I gigged it a couple of times in medium venues and it was fantastic, just far too precious to gig. I now have a Mesa walkabout 15 which is my main gigging amp, I'd say equally beautiful, more head room and far easier to transport.

The transmitter runs down before the receiver because it's the one doing all the work, I've played three hours straight through with no problems, love this piece of kit!

I now have a Tech 21 bass fly rig so this is no longer required, these are great compressors and easy to use. It got a few chips and missing one of the screws in the back but all works as it should, and delivered for £35 this is a steal...

I've upgraded to a Spitfire so this is no longer required, it's in good condition, cheapest I can find these is £75 on strings direct in the below link, this is yours, delivered for £30.

Can you connect both bass and MP3 player at the same time?

Still have these, unopened, would consider any brand of flats as long as they are 105 on the E string

Gigged with this a couple of times now and it is flawless, perfect sound, no latancy that I can tell, good range, and because it's rechargable I just plug it in over night after a gig, then put it in my gig bag! Perfect

71 is a little early for a gasket on the neck plate. I think they started around 73. I'd certainly want to see neck stamp, pot and pick up stamps before I went anywhere near that.

I have similar issue with my 1963 AVRI and I get some good quality thin luminous tape and use a belt hole punch to get the size dot I want, one role of tape will last years!
-
Never quit a band, been with the same guys on and off for twenty years, drummers have come and gone, but that's to be expected due to their gene pool issue.

What I've read says best for passive, active circuits response will vary depending on the output.
-
Last question re: shielding, I've done both and all looks good so far. Is it OK to put some electrical tape on the inside of the control cavity on top of the copper tape around where the jack is situated? Just in case the jack moves and comes into contact with the sides to prevent shorting??

I just ordered one of these, should be arriving sometime next week. They look pretty smart and seem to get some good feedback, I like the fact that you just charge them up and they'll give you 4/5 hours, no batteries or additional power supply to mess about with and are tiny. I don't know much about latency figures but 6ms seems pretty low and people don't seem to notice any difference with cables. Not for use with active circuits though!
I got the black version as I thought it looks less obtrusive, I shall update once it arrives.
