  3. Hey! I've been out off the scene for a year or so but I'm back in a band now so I need a tuner pedal. I'd like a boss TU2 or TU3 or Korg pitchblack or a TC Polytune. In return I have a DBX 163A Compressor for swap or trade. I have one built into my amp so it's surplus to requirements. Anyone fancy it? Cheers
  4. Cheers for that fella. Its pretty loud on its own, had a couple studio sessions with it. Just looking at options for more bottom end and increased speaker cone area. On that note, has anyone has experience of miss matching speaker ohms? I calculate that if I stick an 8 ohm cab I'll get 2.67 ohms in parallel. Thoughts?
  5. Hi guys, I've had a look around some forums and can't see what I'm after. Basically I've just got my hands on the aforementioned Marshall combo. 300w @ 4 ohms to the 4x10 speakers. It can run 450w @ 2 ohms and recommends the Marshall 1x15 but they are RARE! Anyone had a similar experience or got any advice? Cheers guys
  6. Hi mate. Got a price for the mxr octave?

  8. Hi. This is a totally empty cabinet. Used to be a SWR Redhead combo. Can take 2x10 speakers and a horn (I can include the original, make an offer) It's partially segregated inside and ported at the back. Wired with a stereo 1/4" jack for the horn capability. Is solid and heavy, currently has no castors but these are easy to add, I have 4 castors, again make me an offer. Located in Essex.
  9. Hi, this amp works perfectly. I removed it from the cover to fit into my old SWR Redhead combo enclosure, now I've got a new combo. It's 450w into 4ohms and could be used for spares or if you fitted it into your own case it would be fine. Make me an offer. I'm happy to post but it's HEAVY so would be £25 postage.
  10. For sale or trade Danelectro Tuna Melt tremolo with box £25 posted Mooer Sweeper with box £40 posted Both in full working order. Tuna melt is scuffed hence lower price Sweeper is as new (I couldn't figure out how to get it's sound into my band!) Feel free to contact or make an offer Located in Essex
  11. Hi mate got a pic now. It should work fine as an extension. The speakers are both 8ohms so the cab works as 4 ohms.
  12. For sale: SWR unloaded Redhead Cab. NO AMP. ***on hold until Sunday pending payment*** Morning guys, my Redhead died for the last couple months I've been using it as a speaker cab for my budget Behringer amp head but now I've gone over to a new combo. The speakers are in excellent condition bearing in mind this is a 25 year old unit. No rips or tears in the cones. The cab itself is a bit tatty but no cracks etc. To my knowledge it's 240 watts power handling and 4 ohms. There is a space for an amp head where the Redhead was and also a single empty rackmount compartment. Another moment my Behringer head is in there and buyer is welcome to have it FOC. Collection from Basildon, Essex area. £95 or make me an offer. **picture was taken before the head was removed, the cab is at the studio at moment, will have a current pic in a few days**
  13. ****SOLD**** Morning guys. Reluctantly selling my LP bass, just doesn't get played as much as it deserves. Just been setup and electrics redone by local music shop. She's in lovely condition for a 45 year old instrument, the usual dings you'd expect from a well-played bass but nothing terrible. Contact me for pics cos I'm not sure how to do it on my phone! Not particularly interested in a trade but may be persuaded
  14. cheers guys. I had a pretty decent delay patch on my boss me50B. single repeat and about 50ms ish just for an intro where it was just me and the hi hat. wondering if it's worth shelling out for now I've moved to single pedals. looks like a digital delay is the way to go.
  15. ok so GAS tells me I need a delay pedal but I'm not so sure. I guess I COULD use it but I don't consider it as essential as my Big Muff or Chorus. It could even be that I just wanna make as many silly noises as the guitarists, who knows. What do you guys think? Anyone got one going cheap that I could try to know one way or the other? Tel.
  16. don't blame ya! whats the specs on the patch cables? i nedd 4/5 decent ones
