Very nice. How close a fit is the neck pocket? Also, was it originally natural?
Yes, the neck is tight. As I explained, the original finish was not natural, When I got it it was black. I took it to a profesional, who did a great job to strip it off and finish it in natural finish. The grain was a nice surprise, it is beautiful. It is not a light Pbass, but it sounds BIG and the neck is a dream.

NEW PRICE 1150. For sale Fender Pbass from 1979. All original except the finish, that was recently done profesionally in natural. Stunning wood grain. The neck and action are very confortable. Weight is 4.9 kg. Comes with original hard case and bridge cover. Someone brought to my attention that the PU cover is a Jazz bass type one, for some unknown reason. I just wanted to make that clear! DROP AGAIN: 1400 PRICE DROP: 1550 For sale a 1974 fretless Fender precision bass, maple fingerboard. AMAZING condition, the instrument looks almost new. I bought it from the original buyer, a studio owner in the States who told me he hardly ever used it in all those years. Weight is light, 4.3 kilos. It comes in the original hard case, also in excellent condition. I don't have the original bridge guard, PU guard and thumbrest, but I will provide brandnew Fender originals. traded!! For sale this beautiful blonde Fender Telecaster bass from 1972. I got this from the original owner, so the condition is very good. The see-through finish shows the wood grain, it is really stunning. The neck is very confortable and straight. A fine instrument. The story: Sometime in the 80s the guy took it to the luthier to have the original PU removed and a set of Dimarzios installed for a "more friendly" sound. The technician, without asking him (no mobile phones then...), decided to install the Dimarzios where the bridge PU should be. He also installed the PU selector and an additional (volume, I think) knob. To be honest with you, the bass DOES sound much better now. As you must know, the original Telecaster PU is a very agressive, extremely growly PU, vey BIG FAT sound, but not versatile at all. You still have that sound right there, intact, turning down the volume of the Dimarzios. The good news is that the adition of the Dimarzios plus the PU selector makes it possible to mix the growl of the neck PU with the clean, I would dare say "modern", vibe of the new one into a very powerful and nice tone. At the time of that modification, the original (and very flimsy, by the way) bridge was replaced with a sturdy high-density one, similar to the modern badass. The tone of this bass is great, possibly thank to that bridge. Here she is: More and BIG images here: http://s1314.photobu...r?sort=3&page=1 On the whole, this is an early 70s Telebass with modifications that turn it into a much better instrument. Still, if you want to have the original Telecaster sound (and make your guitar player angry...), you can do it! It comes with a non original, but very cool, vintage hard case.

NEW PRICE: 1600, grab this beauty!! PRICE IS [s]1700[/s]!! I completely messed up with the conversion, sorry!! Hello Lakland lovers, first of all, this is a UNIQUE instrument, it was completely custom ordered, so when I say unique I don't mean "special", I mean literally one of a kind. As long as I know, there is only one bass like this one. It is a US Made Lakland Decade. The finish was custom chosen, I don't know the name butI would describe it as Gold mist or something like that. It is a not flashy, very slightly sparkly gold-yellowish colour. Matching headstock (also a custom feature of this one, US Decades don't have this normally). I would say the condition is 90 out of 100. Very light signs of use and a couple of very minor dings. It is fit with the Alnico version of the Chisonics, probably one of the very few Decades with these. Here she is: More photographs (you can enlarge them A LOT): http://s1314.photobu...t?sort=9&page=1 About the sound and feel of the instrument, if you have played US Laklands before, there is not much to say. High end materials, perfect necks, resonant bodies. Beautiful instrument with amazing sound. I almost forgot, this is a very light bass, only 4.1 kilos on my bathroom scales. Very cool OHC, special edition, with gold Lakland logo. The original price of this bass was over 4000 USD. Let me know your thoughts on this beauty!!
