1. Price drop to £450 - this is a huge sounding Canadian made amp thats packed with features. Absolutely trounces any Class D head I've tried for sheer power. Built like a tank too so wont break down after a year or two of gigging.
2. Here's a link to the page with manual and specs. http://traynoramps.com/legacy/discontinued/product/dynabass_800h/ And some forum reviews... (not my opinions!) https://www.talkbass.com/threads/traynor-db800h-tc115-x2-mini-review.627371/ I've got the original box as well so I can ship it within the UK. It'll be around £45 though as its heavy at 23kg including the flightcase.
3. Made in Canada with huge transformers and top quality components. Extremely versatile and powerful. Runs speakers down to 2 ohms for multi speaker rigs. This amp has so much clean headroom where necessary but also has a switchable 12AX7 valve distortion channel with blend control to retain clean bass punch. Preamp can be switched from solid state to valve. Built in compression and resonance control to dial in feel from baggy to tight trouser flapping. Comes with touring grade 3U flight case. 23kg. Great 5 band EQ with parametric mid and scoop control. The best non-tube bass amp I’ve ever used but I’ve just bought a tube head so has to go. This 800 watt solid state head feels so much more powerful than the class D lightweights I’ve used and it’s definitely far more reliable. Check out the manual online for more spec and read the rave reviews. This was Traynor’s flagship bass amp and retailed at over £1000. In excellent condition. Happy to discuss postage or meeting up somewhere.
4. Hey - long shot but do you still have the 3U carpet rack sleeve on the top of the picture? If not do you know where i can get one?
5. Hey thanks for these responses - i didn't have the notifications set right so i've only just seen them.
6. Reduced to £400 including hard case and free shipping for a quick sale!
7. Thanks lee650 for the comment. I think it's a great head too and I spent ages trying lots of different things but went with the RB in the end as it has really nice grit and grind on the bottom end. But i was offered another head that i just couldn't refuse so this one has to go. I'm totally open to offers by the way!!
8. Sold: great sounding head and really powerful at 460 watts at 8 ohms, 700 watts at 4 ohms. Biamp possible with GK cabs for separate 50 watt amp and volume control for horn. 4 band active EQ with 5 string switch, presence and contour control. Boost knob dials in the amount of grind so you can get a great dirty sound, especially with a humbucker or active bass. Effects loop, DI out, tuner out and mute. In excellent condition except for a bit of wear around where the rack ears once were (not included). Hard case available if required. Amp is in Cornwall but i can post for around £20 fully insured. Great amp that sounds amazing and is super reliable but i've just bought a valve head.
9. Nice little Class D head from GK. 500 watts at 4 ohms, 350 watts at 8 ohms. Active 4-band EQ and contour control. Twin channel with footswitch included. GK's nice drive boost features on channel B for valve style grind. This has been used but is still in very good condition and has the original footswitch and cable, box and manual. Will courier for £20 fully insured.
10. Cheers gjones for the response and advice. I'm going to try it at a rehearsal and see what the cab sounds like as i wind it up to gig volume.
11. I need advice on pairing a cab with a GK 1001RBii i've just purchased. The manual rates it at 460 watts at 8 ohms and 700 watts at 4 ohms. I currently have a GK 210RBH 2x10 cab which is rated at 400 watts at 8 ohms and is a pretty heavy duty cab but I convinced it will struggle with the output of the new head at gig volumes. I play in a reasonably chilled rhythm and blues band with a single guitarist playing through a Boogie combo and a sensible drummer but i've got a Stingray which really pushes out the bass. I've always had the bass boost up full on the SRay - that may have to change! I've also read that GK rates its amps conservatively and that they can really kill cabs which is a worry as i like the portability and size of the GK 2x10. Do I need a new cab and if so what kind of power rating should i be looking at? I'd ideally like to have just the one as we rarely play big venues - but consequently I rarely DI the bass and prefer having a beefy backline that can fill the room. Also storage and boot space is an issue so a single smaller cab would be better. I wondered whether I'm going to have to get a 4x10 to be able to get a high enough power rating. The GK Neo 410 is rated at 800 watts at 8 ohms. I'd gladly consider other brands though as I won't be using the horn bi-amp feature. I tend to turn the horn right off as the Stingray produces so much treble, I have the treble cut right off on the bass. Any advice would be gratefully received!
12. Great little class D bass head with a two footswitchable channels (one dirty), active 4-band EQ, switchable limiter, pad and mute buttons on the front panel, tuner out and FX loop. Really nice clear sound and plenty of power. Twin speakon outputs for any cab combination. 500 watts at 4 ohms, 350 watts at 8 ohms. Light as a feather. Comes with footswitch, original box and packaging, manual and mains lead. Can post for £15 fully insured or collection from St Agnes in Cornwall. £299 for quick sale. No trades.
13. For sale: tc electronic bh250 class D 250 watt bass head with toneprint effects. See tc website for spec. Excellent condition and surprisingly loud. Small mark on front see third pic. Selling due to new amp. Will ship for £10 or collection from St Agnes in Cornwall
14. Hi Karlfer - sorry - not sure of the etiquette - can you put me in contact with someone who can arrange that?
15. I've had loads of interest and have been reliably informed that 850 is too cheap for this. Also, an instrument is worth what people are willing to pay for it. Still open to offers though...
16. Sorry - it's just a joke between me and Ben, the member who posted that msg!
17. For sale is my 1990 Status Series 2000 all graphite weave thru-neck 4-string bass - it's a one-piece body and neck with a phenolic fingerboard. Its fretted and has the original active TB4 tone circuit with active cut and boost for treble and bass with a pickup blend. Just called a very friendly lady at Status who gave me all the details on this and confirmed the year of manufacture, model, spec, value, etc. Serial number is 408. It's very dark blue in colour and you can see the woven graphite through the finish - looks awesome. It plays great with a super low action but not buzzy. Neck is straight and true as you'd imagine with a graphite neck. It's got that classic Status sound with plenty of bass and treble on offer. Near immaculate condition - a couple of tiny marks on the treble edge of the fingerboard. Small amount of black paint coming off the brass bridge and string retainer. Strap locks added. See pics. Flight case included but needs refoaming. Located in Cornwall. I would consider trades for a 4 string Stingray or similar. I'm happy to ship it within the UK.
