Bigguy one thing I've noticed in comparing your pics to the first one I posted is this. The ground wire from the top of the VOL pot goes to the top of the blend pot on your pic, while on the first pic it goes to the bottom right lug on the blend pot.The bottom pic that you posted is like my layout with the Blend control at the top and looks a lot simpler. For a start the VOL control has only 1 wire connected to its l/h lug, whereas mine has 3 wires connected to that lug.Gonna give that a go I think.Cheers.

That is a very interesting diagram at the top!
How so Wood? You mean the upside down position of the bell plate?Yeah, its weird.

I'll try.in fact I've already took a pic but because if the reflections on the s/plate,it looks even more confusing. Each wire has a reflected image.I'll try and remove the s/plate and take another.Bear with me.I'm not the best solderer in the world BTW.Bear that in mind😄

Thats the same pic I posted Ki0gon and from the same website.I stripped it down and started again from scratch. Now,both pups are on until the centre detent, and then both abruptly switch off.I'm going to leave it till tomorrow until my heads cleared a bit.Thanx for your input.

What pot is it exactly?
Here it is,copied from Ebay listing.Bourns Blend Pot Mini with Centre Detent 6mm Solid Shaft 250k Linear Taper

I have wired up a jazz bass control plate with a 250K blend pot.My problem is that it only works in 1 direction.By that I mean,if I pan from bridge pup to neck pup,the signal disappears from the centre detent onwards,ie the neck pup is not sounding. If I reverse the wiring, the opposite happens. Is that the right blend pot I've got,as I've stripped and rewired the whole thing twice, but its still doing it? Any pointers guys? I'm following this diagram.

For years I played the intro and verse to Gimme Some Lovin' as i - i - i - i - i - iv.
Oh, the shame
If I'm totally honest,I have NO idea what that means😮

Well would you credit it.I tried it with a new battery and it works. But theres something odd. Before, when you plugged into it,the display showed"0"and the far right LED was lit constantly and it stayed that way. Now,with the battery,it does the same thing for a second and then works normally. Its making me think that the P/S is suss, although it operates my other pedals just fine.
-
I've never used it with a battery, but now that you've mentioned it,I'll give it a try, although if it doesn't work with a power supply I cant see it working with a battery, but I'll give it a go.
-
I've had this tuner for years and its never let me down, until today. When I connect the power supply and then plug the bass lead in,the display goes to a constant '0' and only 1 led is lit,the far right one..None of the other switches do anything.Unplugging the power and then plugging it back in brings back the same situation. One thing though.I presume all Behringer pedals work off 9V,centre pin -ve?Because I've recently started using another power supply, but this one doesn't affect my other Behringer pedals.Just the tuner is affected.Any ideas guys? I guess these things dont last for ever, but I'd hate to throw it out.

'My Love' by Macca. His 'E' string is so out of tune its not real. But my 'favourite'(?) is Barbara Dicksons "January,February" chorus.I spent weeks hearing it on a little transistor radio at work, but one night,on TOTP,when I could hear the bass properly,I seriously thought the bassist was on something.Really.Have a listen.Maybe its in the name of art,and trying to sound clever, but I still cant believe someone said "You nailed that bassline mate" at the recording.😁

It seems to be some sort of copper/brass but I've never seen anything like this on a J-bass before.Has anybody?

She is Joy Crookes and her joining in was a last minute thing, without rehearsal except a run-through backstage.
I didn't even think she was that good in her own spot. But any Paddy, like meself, knows that the only man worthy of singing that song, was the late Luke Kelly of the Dubliiners

Just listened to Ed Sheeran murder a beautiful song 'On Raglan Road' along with some daft bint who couldnt make up her mind whether to sing high or low (or in tune),on Hollands show.Give me strength!

the first mistake does sound really odd, the second one sounds good, which is probably what they thought
I agree, but it must be hellishly hard to get right onstage.

Paul McCartney - 'Let me Roll it'. Couple of bloopers. At roughly 3.24 Macca completely misses a note and at 4.22,the 'double push' is a blatant mis-edit,according to Geoff Emerick. But Macca kept it in his live shows anyway.

Thank you,thank you.You've solved a conundrum LukeFRC.You must admit though,the headstock is very 'Peavey-ish?'Thanx for the input,chaps.
