1. Up for sale is a Yamaha BB414 in Vintage White. This was bought in August last year and I've gigged it a couple of times with great success but isn't getting much use at the moment and I need to shift some gear after recently moving house! The bass is in top condition and I can't see any marks on it. I have no hard or soft case available but those who have bought from me know that I package extremely well with plenty of bubblewrap. Don't let the low price fool you into thinking this is simply a budget bass as some really good sounds can be achieved. The specifications from the Yamaha website are as follows: Neck: Maple Fingerboard: Rosewood Bridge: Vintage Style Tuners: Die-cast Chrome Construction: Bolt-on Body: Alder Frets: 21 Pickups: Split Single-coil & Soapbar Single-coil Pickup Switch: 3-Position Controls: Master Volume, Master Tone Scale Length: 34" Am looking for £150 posted or £140 collected from Lincoln. Please PM me with any questions Jon
2. This is now sold, cheers for the interest.
3. Only got this in September from BottomEndian but just not getting on with the width of the neck and find my Ibanez SR505 much easier to handle. The bass is in excellent condition and has an extremely versatile 3 band pre-amp to get the best of the Bartolini pickups. Pictures are from the original for sale thread (hope BottomEndian doesn't mind me using them) but the bass is in exactly the same condition as it arrived to me although I have restrung it with Elixirs. 6. Found a box big enough to take the bass and its hard case so a bump to say that this is now available at £450 posted!
7.
Hey buddy, is this amp still available or has it gone? If still available, are you interested in a part/trade involving a 5-string fretless with active circuitry that I've got and no longer need?
Sorry this is now sold. Cheers
8.
Any trades or hard cash ?
Cash only I'm afraid, really need to cut down on the number of basses I own!
9.
so a trade for another jazz is pointless!!??
I'm afraid so yes!
10. Recent acquisitions and my belief that I just don't get on with Jazz's forces this sale. Was only bought a couple of months ago from Rumble on this forum and is in exactly the same condition as it was when I bought it from him as it has only been used a handful of times. It's a US Jazz in Olympic White with Rosewood neck and a tortie plate. The pickups have been changed to Kent Armstrongs and the bridge upgraded to a Gotoh 203. Plays brilliantly and a really nice low action can be achieved but the Jazz sound just isn't my cup of tea. Am lookin for £450 posted which is what I paid for and is in my opinion a bargain for this! Cheers to Rumble for allowing me to use his pics.
11. Traded my amp with Owain. Top bloke to deal with and would definitely do business again!
12. Just a quick bump to say this is still available
13. Great little amp head that isn't getting used anymore due to me using my Trace Elliot BLX combo more often. Its nearly 2 and a half years old and in that time has performed really well, with many compliments, in both live and studio settings. It has seen some use as can be seen by the scratches on the underside of the unit although obviously these don't affect the operation of it at all. Am looking for £380 posted but may also be tempted by trades for 5 string or fretless basses as I fancy having a go at something new! Any questions please PM. Cheers, Jon
14. Have had some interest in this altough this is a bump with a price drop to £220
15. Continuing a bit of a clearout of the basses that don't get enough use anymore, here for sale is a Fender Mexican Precision. I believe the bass to be an '06 model and I have upgraded the stock pickup with a Seymour Duncan Quarter Pounder and have changed the stock white scratchplate to a Mirrored one. It's a great example of a Mexican Fender but just isn't getting a look in anymore. I would say the condition is good although as shown in the pictures there is some buckle rash on the back and there are also a couple of other minor imperfections that were difficult to photograph. Am looking for £220 for the bass with a Fender gig bag and the original scratchplate and pickup. This will be collection only ideally, although I am willing to drive for a meet up within reason. I may also consider trades but would much prefer a cash sale. Cheers, Jon
16. Cheers for the interest but this is now sold
