1. I've traded my Alembic MK 5-string against Matt's Ken Smith BSR 5EG. Everything went perfect... Matt did send me his bass and I did send my bass over to him in Sweden. The deal went perfect! I can only say that Mattias is a nice guy to deal with!

Greetz,
Dirk

You'll have to let us know what you think about the Smith :)
That's easy Molan,
For me Smith basses are the best I've ever played. A punchy and very personal sound, a very good playability, a perfect balance and a nice look... and I've played lot's of brands....

Did you sell the Fodera in the end?

Rich.
yes Rich,
The Fodera went back to its former owner...
I really fell in love with Ken Smith basses, these basses really are amazing! (In Belgium we say : this bass is written on my body)
That's why my other basses are looking for a new owner! So I can get a second Ken Smith!
You're still into Status I see! Wonderfull basses too!!

Greetz,
Dirk

5.
Lovely Bass....But it's not Pre Gibson.
Burbank era Tobias basses from Serial number 1094 onwards were made by Mike
Tobias and his team, but under Gibson ownership,so technically it's not 'Pre Gibson'
The Burbank era is "considered" pré Gibson because this basses where still build by MikeTobias and his team...
If this disturbes you, let us call it "Pré-Nashville" than, however, it is still handbuild by Mike Tobias and his team and didn't roll out of a Gibson factory.... and that is what it is all about....
