I can tell how great this is. I have tried one once some time ago and I still got the tone in my head. You would need to post a sound clip so that people can figure out. This bass is sick. It's in my top 3 dream 4 string basses for sure. Slapping with this bass will make you sound great ... no matter how simple is your playing.

That's indeed a great bass. I bought a 2001 Cherry Sunburst 55 94 one month ago almost mint. You really need to have this one in your arsenal. Mine have Bart inside and love it. I am upgrading it with gold hardware. Also, these instruments don't lose much of their value, even 10 years later. Mine is 15 years and I bought it £2100 as well. May not look like a great deal for the price. But when you have it in your hands you understand it's worth it. So this is truly an investment that you make. Also the older they are the better they sound. it's like wine. Haha. Good sale ! Hopefully you won't regret it! Some who have sold get back it sooner or later. Wonder which bass is going replace this one in your arsenal though.

No they don't and as mint it's even more rare. I would not have sold if I did not have the exact same but 55 94. It's a great bass for this price. I am still wondering why I would not just keep it. What do you have ? Aguilar head, EBS head, Aguilar/GK cab might be interest to me. I say might.
These Deluxe s don't come up very often. Great basses with Bartolini. Wish you were trading.
-

This is a mint condition 2005 Lakland 55-02 Skyline Cherry Sunburst. It is really mint ... like nothing. It's all stock! It's a Korean and not Indonesian. Finish is great! Check out the pictures. I am selling it because I have now his big brother 55-94. Otherwise, I would never sell this. It's a great instrument! The neck is a highway. This is the one of the best Low B of the market and it spits serious highs as well. You cannot almost hear any difference between the 55-02 and the 55-94. It's the same tone. It's just a matter of feel mostly due to the quartersawn neck of the 55 94. This one has nothing to do with the newer LH3 & Lakland pups. Bartolini is the truth on these instruments. It has much more more growl in my opinion to the LH3. I have compared both. Just my opinion ... Anyone interested ? No trades cash only. 950 + shipping from France. Action and neck have been revised and I paid for this so you don't have any extra $$ out of your pocket once you get it. This is a serious deal to make with no regret. I would even throw in an original Lakland US white hardcase if you add extra cash (+60GBP) I can tell you it really has a killer tone. Don't know if there is any bass on the market that can beat that in that price range. Lakland no longer make these instruments. So it's rare! Whoever played and owned one knows what I am talking about. LAST AND FINAL PRICE : GBP 3,200 => 3,000 => GBP 2,550 plus shipping OR 3,400 euros. Shipping is around 100 euros to UK. If it does not go, I will either keep it or sell it locally (in Paris). ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ I'm selling reluctantly this beautiful Celinder Marcus miller tribute 4 strings bass. (it's a first hand). I've been the only owner of this bass. It's real mint condition. I traded the stock Celinder preamp and pickups for Lindy Fralin overwound +5% plus John East U Retro Deluxe flat response (more neutral than the one we all know). But I've still got the Celinder pups and preamp. I will leave them to you with the bass. The stock Celinder pups will not be sold separately. Celinder Hardcase is included. Location of the bass is France, Paris. I'm not interested in any kind of trade, CASH ONLY. Feel free to contact me in case you would need more info. Peace.
