2. Hi
I want to swap my current rig for a decent portable combo or maybe maybe a single light cab and keep the head. I have an Ashdown Abm 300 Evo 11 head used with 4x8 & 1x15 mini cabs and a Pod XT live for compression, tuning.

I know these are pretty compact and not to heavy at 20 & 30 KG but the old back is a creakin !

Bass wise its mainly a Lakland Bob Glaub and a SeiBass Jazz 5 string

I play classic rock covers in pubs with a loudish drummer and no PA support. The Ashdown copes with bags to spare. I like it pretty clean with some mid bite

    I am considering :

    Combos
Gallien Kruger 700RB /210 (nice wheels)
    Markbass CMD 102 or 103H

    Cabs
    Gallien Kruger Neo 212
    Zoot 2 X 12
    Epifani 2x10

Any ideas of other solutions or experiance of these would be usefull cheers.

Don't really have a budget cap (unless my wife is reading this in which case its £19.99)

I think his ebay username is mis-spelt needs a T instead CHE

Maybe he will PX for my framed "John Entwistle " Bogey

  4.
That's what I thought, hmmmm..

I did play about with the EQ but it didn't seem to help me much - its just the sheer power and punch that I think are lacking ;)

Yeah still toying with the idea of returning it which is a shame because its a really nice amp. Funnily enough they had a s/h 4x10 cab and I thought about the MAG300 head but because I got such a good deal on the combo I resisted it :P

I paid £280 for the amp because I knew the guy in the shop. The cheapest I could find it for online was £370
5.
I was just wondering what you guys would nominate as the best bass you have ever owned or played?

I have a headless status 5 string at the moment, and I really like it, but I just don't think that it's my 'ideal' bass. I'm looking for ideas as to decent kit that people have bonded with in some way. pics allowed!
SeiBass Jazz 5 no question so good i bought two !!
