1.
Have you got his blue Lakland? lovely looking bass....
Hi Kevin, No blue Lakland I'm afraid! Instead, a 1973 Telecaster Bass (crazy amount of 'thump' with the Humbucker) and his Custom Made Ales Vychodil 5 String Precision (AVBP5) in Sunburst. They should appear on my website soonish..... David
2.
He's a lucky man, it is a lovely bass!
Thanks Simon - he is also a very nice man! I have taken a couple of his basses he used on Corrs and Boyzone recordings in part exchange.
3. I thought I would post a little update on the '65 Precision that some of you enjoyed playing at the SW bash. It has a new owner, a certain Keith Duffy long time bassist with The Corrs. Hopefully you might see him using it at the Royal Variety Show, scheduled for the TV in December. So apologies in advance, I won't be able to bring it to the next bash!!!
4. I have one of these in stock at the moment so I have just measured them and they are the same size at approx 71mm wide. I tried to upload a picture for you but it (or I !!) failed! If you wanted a close up please feel free to get in touch and I'll send you one. David
5. Yes, certainly agree Indonesian combo was lighter. Bearing in mind the amount of technology at the event on Sunday, do we spill the beans regarding our very scientific 'scales' used to confirm this fact?!?!?!
6. Hi Andy - the tunes on the Shuker were not at all distasteful! Glad you enjoyed playing it and liked the 'insane' colour! Norm - read what Andy said!!!
7. Hi Norm! Well the good news is I can help you with two of those..................and of course more good news..................I owe you a beer! That G&L was an awesome bass too. The range of tones on offer by adjusting the volume control for each pickup on a bass that doesn't have a tone control was incredible!
8. Thanks to Jim for organising today's bash, it was really good to meet you all! Thanks also to everyone for bringing some amazing gear - what a great range of basses and effects!
9. When a 'trans Orangish' colour was mentioned I thought of a Fender colour number '22' which was Sunset Orange Transparent that was used for only a few years around 2003 / 2004 on USA Ash bodied basses. I have only ever seen the colour on one bass, a Precision that I had few a short while.............stunning looking bass as hopefully the attached shows!
10. Hi, did you manage to sell the Cort? Thanks. David
11. I'm a newbie so sorry if this wastes peoples time! Is this 4B still available for sale? If not, does anybody have one available for sale? Thanks. David
