I'll happily take this off your hands for £50! :)

I don’t doubt that for a second 😉 for some reason I couldn’t put anything higher than £50 in the ad titles 🙄

  2. Having had this a week now I have to admit it genuinely is one of the best jazz sounds I’ve had. Still don’t like the string spacing and the nut width. I would really love a 2 tone 57/58 RI or an Oly White 62 P

    Thanks

Been there, done that to my head amp, looking good and an interesting  cab to boot, AND, a guard dog too  !

The Tolex is the easy part 😄 This is my eleventh or twelfth re Tolex. The prep and repair is the part I  don’t like.

The dog is a terrified Elvis really loving but absolutely no use as a guard dog  😄

  4. I recently acquired an Orange Bouncer Bass 1x15 from 1971 off eBay. It’s been modified in its past. The angled batten to the front inside edge has been removed at some point and then painted black. Thanks presume it’s bee part of an install as the back was still orange.

Id bought the Tolex but it’s sat for a couple of months then last week I decided to buy the new corners, piping and timber and made a start. The Tolex came off without any problems whatsoever, nice large strips.

Today I’ve added the timber profiles to the front and done some filling of that but the cabs had a lot of damage and will need a second fill all over to get it ready for the Tolex. The badge had also been painted black but came up ok with a soak in warm soapy water and an attack with a nail brush. 04CDDCE3-A184-4432-9D2D-1F2AD3D7A9D0.thumb.jpeg.c08847dbcdfd11faf04a07506fb10694.jpeg

    Quite possibly a 2004, these didn’t begin until 1998

ive had 2 Geddy’s and loved them both.

I thought it was too early, that’s the Fender site, serial number decided that shows 94/5 so with that and I imagine with it being MIJ and having the stamped tuners it’s going to be 98.

Dont get me wrong,I love them, but whenever I play a jazz it just never sounds like the sound I hear from other players 😄

  6. 1975 Acoustic Control Corporation 406 (Narrow) 2x15 cab for sale. Newly restored with correct tolex, grills and new old stock corners. Original drivers installed and working well. All metalwork has been blasted and powder coated. This cab is immaculate and sounds amazing. Very loud and articulate cab, please don’t even ask the weight as if the weight of a cab is an issue to you, this is not for you.
Collection from Byker or courier at your expense.
    Thanks
    £450 ovno
